Ryan watched the blood run down his arm , dripping onto the floor. He closed his eyes and leaned against the wall , losing himself to the sensation. But the feeling couldn't last for long . His life would catch up to him and the pain would return. The hurt , the feeling of betrayal . Why had he ever trusted her? He finally finds someone he could trust , and they backstab him in the end. He should've seen it coming. He found a paper towel and cleaned the blood . It wasn't that anyone would notice , but he didn't like constant reminders of what he does. Still filled with anger and sadness , he curls up on his bed , and a familiar feeling returns. He was alone. Should I continue...?
Ryan woke up the next morning feeling slightly better than before , but he still wasn't ready for the outside world. He put on his favorite pair of skinny jeans and went downstairs , where his mom was sitting on the couch. His mom didn't even glance at him as he walked by. Typical of her to do. Eat. Sleep. Cut. Drink. Sleep. That's pretty much how his day went. And the day after that. And the day after that. But then , 3 days later , he decided to do the impossible. Go outside . Since Ryan lives in a small town , he has the advantage of being able to walk wherever he wants . After walking around for a but , he saw what he had dreaded to see. A familiar face. Trying to dodge the other man , he began walking into a store , but it was too late. "Hey Ryan!" Ricky said. Ricky was a guy that Ryan had met at a party 6 years ago, and gotten to know. He hadn't talked to him for a while , considering he had given up on people all together. "Hey Ricky..." Ryan mumbled , angry with himself for not being faster. "Whats up man! Hows life!" Ricky asked. "Fine..." "You alright man? Don't tell me you haven't gotten over tha-" Ricky started. But Ryan had walked away before Ricky could finish. Ricky caught up to Ryan and continued to talk. "It's alright man. Don't let that slut get to you." That comment made Ryan angry. Rachel hadn't been a slut . She was much more... "Are you listening to me? You need to get serious medical help bro, cause you're goin crazy!" Ricky said. "How about you do the world a favor and shut up!" Ryan shouted. "Alright , relax bro. Didn't mean to get you all pissy." Ricky said. Ryan turned around and started heading home , this time Ricky hadn't followed him. Not as dark , but it has more dialogue...
When Ryan got home he decided to start cleaning his room. It was disgusting , and had looked like that for a while. After cleaning for a while , he found something that made him freeze in his tracks. It was an old picture of him and Rachel , from when they went to the movies together . A picture from a time so long ago. The tears rolled off of Ryan's face and onto the picture. He had loved her. He had put all of his faith into her. More and more tears came . He cried until he thought there couldn't be a drop of water left in his body. Then he looked for the letter. The letter he hadn't read since she died. He found the old paper and un-folded it. Dear Ryan , As I write this , I think of all the good times we had together. You made my life worth living , but it couldn't last for long. I have to go. I'm tired of all the shit other people give me. I'm giving up. No one will care that I'm gone. Please don't grief over my death . I've made this decision knowing you'll be strong enough to move on. Find another girl. Don't think I did this because of you. You were a great person. Love , Rachel. Ryan sobbed. He threw glasses at the wall , he broke almost everything in his room? Why would she do this to him? Why would she leave him? What had he done wrong? His mom stood in his doorway, watching him. Ryan turned his head and saw her. "By noon tomorrow , I expect you to be out of this house."
