Daylight Savings is Over You heard the man. Starting on November 3rd, we will no longer be accounting for Daylight Savings time! That means that when the clocks 'fall back' 1 hour on November 3rd, our in-game times will also fall back! Why did we do this? Every year, twice a year, daylight savings causes nothing but issues for our team AND for players. Party rewards, drops, timers -- multiple different things have been negatively affected over the years. The reason is because when Daylight Savings happened, our team needed to work on rescheduling everything to make sure we were still releasing content at 12:00 p.m. PST. This year when daylight savings happens, we're rolling with it! What will happen? On November 3rd when Daylight Savings happens, clocks will roll back 1 hour. That means for us, new content and changeover will happen at 11:00 a.m. PST instead of 12:00 p.m. PST! This will not be a bug and will be working as intended. Please help spread the news with your friends! Don't leave them hanging!
Awesome, I love this! It'll take some adjustment to new changeover times but I'm up for anything that makes it easier for the devs and the community at large.
I don't understand the difference because for me it has always been some week of confusion and the regular time. If my daylight saving is on the 27th oct and ATA daylight saving is on the 3rd of November.... What changed?
This is a little confusing because you are taking it into account by falling back with it. Daylight savings isn't happening November 3rd, it's ending. Not taking it into account would be keeping CO at 12pm PST and then it turning into 1pm PDT when it does go into effect in Spring.
The most common form for a person u this was the best day I had ever been on the planet in a while and I am now on a plane vacation and I’m so excited for it all and
Yes make things easier for the devs, to hell with making things convenient for the players, as long as the devs don't have to work to hard 🙄🙄🙄
