[GIVEAWAY] National Friendship Day 2024

This is adorable! Now I need to see how I can pick one friend to write about😂

 

My soulmate/best friend Christopher. My favorite thing about us is our sleep calls. We spend hours on call with each other, chatting and explaining our days. And then when we get tired, we fall asleep together. It's been around a decade of doing it! It's given me so much peace and made later nights so much easier for me to handle! Just the feeling of us talking is surreal. Truly one of a kind.

 

I had met him only 3 months ago then, his eyes lit up when he saw me, his face burst into the biggest smile he ever had and he was like a puppy dog following me around. I couldn't resist him. He was an awesome listener and the best friend one could ever ask for. He adored me. It turned into a crush and developed into love. We were going to get married but the fault in our stars had other things planned for us.
At last, he told me that he wished we had stayed friends, so we didnt have to loose each other.

 

Hi PIMD Forum! I’d like to give a shoutout to my friend @Arkin here. We’ve known each other since 2019 and our friendship is still going strong even outside of the game.

I became inactive a while ago due to personal reasons and @Arkin was always there when I needed someone to talk, rant, gossip, cry, everything! And accepts me and my delulu moments 🫠🤣

We have yet to meet in person.
You owe me samgyupsal!!! lol

 

My entry is dedicated to @Android. Throughout the past 5/6(too long) years we have known each other we have conquered too many games and gone throguh many interesting rides.

It started here on PIMD and then we have played other games since then - always deciding when to return or start something new together. Even outside of this we always update each other with the latest things going on in our life because the tea is strong after years😮‍💨

The 10hour+ time difference doesn’t matter cause we always pick up the conversation. Here’s to the future!

 

Gabi who I love very much is the bestest friend i have ever had. We met throughout highschool and became the best buds. We used to be the silliest when it came to our time together. We used to gossip and make we silly memes of each other. She and I loved kpop anime and loved similar artists and youtubers. And I loved helping her write her creative stories. She to spoil me so much and I love spoiling her. I love her so much and I loved our friendship.

 

For me, it’s my foster sister who I’ve grown so close with almost instantly. I moved in when I was a younger teen and she the first time we spent time together alone we created memories and we became so close we called each other our Twin Foster Sister. She’s always been able to read me and understand what I need even when I’m not sure myself and we can go from laughter to sincerity in seconds and I love every story, memory, and experience I have ever had and those to come. Even if we don’t spend every day together like when we lived with each other and shared everything it’s like no days have passed when I see her. 💕

 

My best friend, C, could not stand me when we first met, lol. I sat behind her in English in high-school, and she thought I talked too much. We were in band together though, so we had plenty of time to interact with one another. By the end of high-school, we were inseparable. Recently, I moved across the country, 2000 miles away, and this girl was so supportive it made me tear up. She was there right for me through the whole process- all the way up to me catching an Uber to the airport, even helping me load up my suitcases and cats. I'm so grateful to be blessed with such an amazing friend.

 

I have a friend named Webby 🤓 Webby used to play pimd a long time ago but no longer does. We founded the club The Black Pearl together but that didn't work out.

Later we founded our friend group, Big Hero 6, with a few friends, which then turned into Suicide Squad (For edgy reasons, not the movie) as the group grew bigger. Our little group no longer exists, but I still talk to Webby time to time.

I am proud of Webby for two reasons. 1. Webby became Navy (Or something like that). 2. Webby got married. (':

Now Webby lives in Japan and we play games together on the PS5 sometimes. 🤓 We have been friends for around 10 years or so.

 

I've known my oldest friend, Candace, since 5th grade. I was an anxiety ridden kid who pulled my hair out and she was the new girl who had an overbite that all the kids made fun of. We were fast friends. Weekly slumber parties, pretending we were the next America's Next Top Models or Olympic gymnasts (spoiler, we weren't). Fast forward to now, we live across the country from each other. We have daily facetimes, daily virtual dance parties with my kids and her cat (an unwilling participant). One day we'll live closer together again but until then we're still just as close in our hearts. Happy national friendship day 💜

 

My best friend has been there for me through everything for the past 14 years, break ups, marriage, miscarriages, if I didn't have her idk how I would of got through it all.

 

I have been friends with my best friend Jasmine since 1st grade she was always there for me when I was sad and she's like a sister to me and I'm so happy I met her we had our ups and downs but we got through them together and I don't know what I would do without her

 

My best friend, whom I now call brother, Ryan. We only met 2 years ago at beach volleyball. He was the scariest looking guy in the group, with a full arm sleeve tattoo, but who knew he would be the nicest and funniest guy.

He took care of me like I was his younger brother, although having 3 other siblings 😂. We travelled to almost 7/8 different countries together now and our travel styles are very aligned. I went to him for advices and also used his name multiple times to sneak out of the house 🙈

 

My mate is a fùckn gc. Been mates for somehow 15yrs now. Not even mates anymore. We family. Their entire family accepted me in as part of the tribe. Even thru all my bulshit they stuck by me. They have always had my back and ive always had theirs. If they need something...im there. If i need something...they are there. No questions asked.

While most people usul dip after a few hrs or maayybe few weeks...this gc is still around. So must be something ligit

 

I had a best friend named pooja with whom I spent nearly every weekend exploring the world through our little adventures. We would bike to the local park, create impromptu picnics with whatever snacks we could find, and spend hours talking about our dreams and secrets. One summer, we even built a makeshift treehouse, decorated it with fairy lights, and claimed it as our “secret hideout.”

As we grew older, life pulled us in different directions, and our once-frequent hangouts became rare. Yet, every time I pass that park or see a treehouse, I remember those carefree days with a smile. The laughter we shared and the bond we formed remain a cherished part of my life.

Though we lost touch, those memories of friendship still bring warmth to my heart. I often think of reaching out to pooja, hoping that someday we might reconnect and reminisce about the good times, knowing that those moments we shared will always hold a special place in my life.

 

Tbh there’s so many thing I could say about my best friend. As cliche as it is she is the yin to my yang. Shes the logically one of us, no matter what idea or advice I need she helps me talk through it when my brain is going a mile a minute. Shes been there with me through my awkward phases in middle school to marriages and heartbreaks. She is always there without judgement. I’m forever grateful for the memories and laughs even as we get older and have our own lives. She’s still the first person I want to share anything with. She’s my forever person. 🥹

 

i'd love to dedicate this entry for my friend, Retina! i've had the pleasure of knowing her since middle school, and over the years, i've fallen deeply in love with her unique blend of weird humor and crazy personality. her ability to find humor in even the most serious or boring situations never fails to leave me dying laughing. but it's not just her sense of humor that i adore - it's her genuine kindness, her unapologetic individuality, and her enthusiasm for life. she had a pretty tough childhood and yet she has been a constant presence in my life, and i couldn't be more grateful. she's the sunshine that brightens up my day and the stars that light up my night. i'm so lucky to have her in my life, and i couldn't imagine navigating through life without her by my side ᡣ𐭩

 

My funniest friend (I will call her D) is a girl from my middle school. I love Detective Conan at that time and read a few fanfic or prediction about how it will end. Some if it contains romance about the leads. When I told D about it her face reddens so much. She got dark skin so you can tell she blushes very hard for me to see it🤣🤣. She's gone now but forever will be remembered.

 

Once i was having dinner with my bff, i drank matcha with whipped cream, and when i finished, only wipped cream remained. My bff said "can i have some?", I said "why don't you say earlier 😭 only the wipped cream remained". Maybe she was shy after what i said, so she said no. I felt sorry for her 😶 so maybe next time we're having dinner again, i will treat her 😁
