Are you Pro-Choice or Pro-Life?

  1. As the question says, which one do you consider yourself?
Is it pro choice because you believe people should have right to their bodies?
Is it pro life because you believe the fetus is important?

So personally I am pro life.
I believe in the right to bodily autonomy of each and every single human being in the world.

I believe when an abortion takes place it violates the right to bodily autonomy of that unborn child.

I believe the fetus is a separate individual, while pro choicers believe that the fetus is part of the mother, I believe the fetus is its own distinct individual with its own DNA separate from the mom, therefore it should have it's right like every other human being.

All free persons have the right to bodily autonomy - which includes freedom from an unnatural death.
    Abortion is an unnatural death.

Therefore, abortion is the violation of the right to life of a separate human being and cannot be allowed. It should be protected.

I also believe pro choicers are illogical in their train of thought

By believing the fetus is not a distinctive individual separate from the mother when in fact it is.

Illogical that they call it a "clump of cells" when we all know the potential of those "cells"

And the logic that since the fetus is dependent on the mother the mother should be allowed to abort it but this logic is messed up because it teaches us that anything that is dependent on anything should be allowed to be "terminated" basically infringing on the rights of dependent individuals.

At the end of the day this whole pro choice and pro life debate to me, is who's bodily autonomy is more important, is it the fetus/baby or is it the womans?

The innocent human that didn't have a say or the woman and her partner knowing fully well what they were doing and what the consequences of sex is...

Of course things like no consent and r@pe are different and I believe those pregnancies should be aborted if the woman decides she doesn't want that baby.

But for me everything else is about accountability.

So yeh you pro choice or pro life?

  2. Pro choice.

I believe everyone should have a say as to what happens with their body.

  3. I choose to mind my own business about the whole situation. I just don't enough about the issue but I do know that it doesn't really affect me in any way.

  4. Pro choice with everything. Its not ok for 1 person to dictate how everyone else can live their life. Thats called communism and its bulshit.

  5. Look, I love my girlfriend.

If we get married and tomorrow at some point I end up choosing between her and the baby, even if I became infertile and won't be able to get another child, I'll be choosing her over the child anyday.

Other than that, a living and breathing woman who can think and has a life ahead of her is more important than a clump of cells which can't think.

If I was born to a bunch of teenagers as a child and ended up homeless on streets with no future or had to face society with some kind of bad tag attached to me. Or if the lady I was born to was raped and my existence reminded her of what traumatic accident happened to her, I'd rather not live at all.

That probably clears up what my stance is.

  6. Adding on to this:

The sheer lack of humanity towards women some people have is nauseating to me.

I'd go as far as to say that if you're a biological male who's unable to give birth to a baby and you act like women shouldn't have a right to abortion, you're the biggest Incel piece of garbage in human existence. Because, while you have no idea how painful carrying a baby can be and what sacrifices one needs to make for it, you also don't know how it feels to be raped and get pregnant with child of your abuser, you're going an extra mile to make life harder for the humans who're suffering.

  7. pro-choice.

you can argue that there are people looking to adopt. and there is. but there’s also so many kids in the foster system. there’s so many children that are put into group homes because there’s not enough foster parents. what about their lives?? let’s take care of them first. they can survive on “their own.”

remember, there’s a ban on SAFE abortions. there’s still going to be abortions where both the fetus AND the woman die.

  8. I am it none of my business because end of the day its the couple and or the woman who decides and before you say adoption is option do you know that both mother and father have to sign so if your abuser chooses to they can abuse you more by forcing you to have a child so don't say that is always an option

  9. Just a thought lol but if I CHOOSE to be against abortion isn't that a choice...on the other hand if I choose abortion for the sake of MY LIFE, ie health issues, victim of sa etc, wouldn't that be in favor of life ....to hell with all these buzz words, stop letting the media/govt divide us, respect ppl choices n beliefs, just bc ur against abortion doesn't mean u should be berated n belittled, vice versa.... We can take this conversation a whole bunch of directions tbh but nobody wanna hear it so just don't say ur for human rights then put contingencies on a "certain kind of" human, that is contradictory ...thank u for coming to my ted talk

  10. I'm just curious what u would say about the women who r also indulging in this lack of humanity towards women who r for abortion...some of whom who r also victims of sa, n some who even know what it's like to conceive from rape
