Hey all! Just made a post to the discord about this as well. We've heard the feedback that people are having trouble with the PVP event and are monitoring the situation. The tips below are helpful in getting more successful hits, but also things to keep in mind when you don't get the results you are expecting. A few tips to improve your "Swing" 1. Try hitting players from the "Meet People" list as it should provide better targets for your hit range! 2. Remember, not every successful hit will pay out bats. 3. The number of bats you collect will vary based on how many bats the player has, and a bit of luck! 4. The event will be a bit slower at first as players don't have many bats to take just yet! We assure you its normal for things to ramp up like this, but we will keep monitoring for any weirdness in the meantime.
It’s not working. I’m hitting people with over 200 bats within a reasonable hit range. From club lists, from people lists, from campus. No bats. It was working in the beginning but it is not working now. Hit advice doesn’t really help. I know how to hit.
I know how to hit use the stupid meet people had over 250 bats get nothing your 💩 ain’t working with over 30 hits you think I get some but nooooooo
Hey! If your help tickets aren't working. Try reinstalling the app or clearing your cache and it should fix it
pls submitting tickets is the lesser of the two problems, we want to know why pvp still isn’t working 😭😭😭
If it is luck based i think the chances need to be lifted. Im not hugely into pvp but like no point having a pvp mechanic to a hunt if its not gonna do anything majority of the time
After many notes and much experimenting, I can only get bats from people less than half my size. I get the most from people 1/4 my size. This will not improve people’s feelings about pvp. I kind of feel bad.
Not sure why receiving bats from successful hits is based on luck when successful hits are based in luck in itself. If I get a successful hit, I should get bats even if it is a mere handful. I don't remember seeing as much frustration and people trying hard to grind with previous PvP events. PvP events should be about improving people's attitudes towards PvP, not making it even more frustrating for what, at the end of the day, aren't rewards that are worth the grind.
I have been hitting from all avenues all day long, used DNs, hit both fight & dance, sent 5+ lands on people with 100+ bats, Ive used meet people, club lists, pub, people from my own club, ive hit fair fights, I've hit people smaller than me, I've landed on people BIGGER than me & still I have not gotten 1 single bat off ANYBODY don't tell me its just bad luck cause I've hit every stat range I possibly could have MULTIPLE TIMES back to back people much bigger than me have been stealing my bats tho 💀 love getting literally 0 payout for my DNs used And even after that garbage post about how to hit I tried focusing in on "Meet people" and am still getting 0 bats after making sure to LAND 5+ b2b (the person in my meet people was 29mcs, I'm like 17mcs and I landed 5 & still get none) I'm calling bogus 🙄
I totally support more genuine camping hunts, I adore the plain ol’ cute outdoorsy feel of things. However.. they really don’t include blood super often, and when they do, it isn’t on every avatar or item.. 😅
You'd be better off just getting bats from parties and sessions and flashes and stuff instead of PvP. Congrats, ATA, you played yourself!
Ramp up? This ramp is going into a pit . 0 bats collected and I have hit every type of way. So it's broken ! DUH
