The dramatic lighting looks amazing and the avatars look great as always, but I wouldn’t use any of them since they look so out of place compared to everything else in the game. I haven’t liked any of the recent shard releases (I thought the Valentines ones were particularly weird), and I’d personally prefer more mundane looking avatars that don’t thematically clash as much with everything else in the game.
Agreed, it does look weird. I think the artists were going for a perspective effect, but the execution wasn’t great, so you kinda have to consciously trick your own brain to see it.
