LIMITED-TIME CONTENT Muscle March! šŸ’ŖšŸ¼šŸ˜ŽšŸ”„

  1. Yes. You've put it better than I ever could, but this is what I have been trying to say. No company ever got richer by treating their clients with dismissal or taking things away from them. What gets good results is providing good content, good customer support and most importantly, trust. Transparency. Understanding the needs of your user base and doing your best to meet them, meeting halfway with the company's own needs. This brings new clients and keeps the old ones loyal and happy.

Plus, uproar shouldn't be seen as a bad thing. Sometimes we have to read or see things that we don't like, but that might be the truth or at least another perspective that not our own. Leave the sensitivity aside and look at this through the eyes of business people. It's important to listen and consider what is making everyone react so strongly and all of a sudden. Was this just the final straw? What needs to change? Self-reflection instead of immediately getting defensive.

We have the right to talk extensively, observe factors and bring out opinions on things we have noticed. We also have the right to organize ourselves for things such as deciding not to spend until our questions are answered. That is not being childish, and in fact for hundreds of years this is how people have been making changes happen. Raising their voice as a community and using all available means to bring attention to what's bothering them. And good businesses handle all of that with professionalism and ethics. Every company that deals with a huge crowd will face backlash every now and then. The difference is what happens after.

I'm glad to see so many great suggestions here and I truly hope the next steps are productive and satisfactory. Until then, let's not forget why this thread has over 25 pages of complaints. Don't start forgiving before we see actual improvements - or we might not see improvement at all.

  2. Victoria was not giving any personal feedback regarding the game but regarding ATAā€™s reply. She was also defending why ATA has not replied. I can understand what she has said but no, she is not an example of ā€œconstructive criticismā€ towards ATA but towards the playerbase demanding responses. Perhaps you should have chosen another answer as your example because it comes off as this way: While your stance on this is that ā€œbitter comments that do not demonstrate intellect and productive criticismā€ will be ignored, it now comes off as ā€œif you donā€™t defend us, we wonā€™t replyā€.

    Take this scenario:
Say you are a company producing a good product like chips have a group of people and you get them to state their opinion on a new chip flavour. If thereā€™s a group of 50 and letā€™s say 15 say the food is good and the rest says that they donā€™t like it. Out of the 35 that does not like the food, 20 express their dislike bitterly. ā€œThe chip tastes like plastic, the quality of your foods has been going down.ā€ , ā€œI use to enjoy your chips because they use to be interesting but now it just seems like you guys are running out of ideasā€, etc. Bitter enough for you guys?
Well, will you still sell the product? The comments may be bitter but theyā€™re not less valuable in saying that PEOPLE DO NOT LIKE THE PRODUCT. (Iā€™m using caps not for aggression but to highlight a point cause the bold is not working)

    While trolls are annoying and
this reply has been brushed off by ATA as ā€œbullyingā€, and and example of what youā€™re gonna ignore, their response is still valuable. Yes, it is emotional and ugly to look at but there is still valuable feedback in the response.

ā€œYOU are charging us 60 dollars an avi, dropping the chances to get a free avi from boxes, thinking we have the time and energy to be on this game 24/7 to get 16k drops for other avis, killing the only way to earn free avis (timer boxes) without having to do much.ā€
If you canā€™t really see it, this part of the feedback is still valuable and does not immediately make the whole response null. It is also a summary of why many players are so angry with this new monthā€™s items. Still not valuable enough?

Sure, you donā€™t want to hear that your product is trash after working hard for it. But hard work does not necessarily mean good work. Players have come by and taken the time to write feedback and criticism. Theyā€™ve taken the time to leave feedback because they STILL want to play the game.

You admit that youā€™re being condescending but itā€™s brushed off when your players are being condescending towards the game because they donā€™t like whatā€™s happening.

My point is any feedback is valuable. The ā€œchildishā€ comments are valuable because they still say something about the product. Also, calling your playerbase ā€œchildishā€ (I am aware that itā€™s not all) will NOT cite the ā€œconstructive criticismā€ that you want to see. You will just enrage them because they do not see that their feedback is taken and they will lose faith in the game. Maybe itā€™s their fault that they did not choose to leave constructive criticism, right? Well, in the end these players may choose to leave the game if they donā€™t see anything worth staying for.

Those are the players youā€™re losing in the Long run. While it may not matter to you guys since PIMD is quite a big game with a large playerbase, if this persists, itā€™s not a good outlook for the game.

New players will always come and go and they will always come with people who will leave both constructive and emotional feedbacks.

Thatā€™s my take on the response situation now. My criticism for the game Iā€™ve stated on page 17 (if Iā€™m not wrong). I typed that on my alt @AnonymousA .

I donā€™t really care for a response to this comment but feel free to do so. After all, Iā€™m just one player out of many.

  3. Imagine only responding to those who back you up but at the moment someone doesnt back you up its bullying and childish and should be nullified and not listened or paid attention to!. :/

  5. You can disagree with eveything they have done and still phrase it respectfully and constructively

  7. Thats what im still saying though, people have written legit essays which ive read and most sound perfectly respectable and constructive, and yet they are ignored... .-.

  8. They canā€™t respond to everyone šŸ„ŗ Plus a lot of players do have the same concerns! Even if they havenā€™t been addressed yet, it doesnā€™t mean that they were necessarily ignored.

  9. I'm not sure about throwback avatars at Molly's Corner as much as I like the idea as well. There is something unique about seeing players with older avatars that you couldn't get from hunt boxes. Even if ATA were to offer avatars you could get from boxes, it feels like that would undermine the effort of players who open a lot of boxes to get those avatars.

I do agree with the part where regular monthly avatars being available either in the spinner or monthly boxes while the VIP version being available in the store, either purchasable through ecs or cash. We've seen ATA make decent avatars, even regular ones like during the Pride Month last year. Regular ones are 15/15 in stats but the designs were beautiful in my opinion. As a non-spender, I do understand that I do not have access to many of the perks of those who do spend. But the monthly avatar had been accessible to all players for as long as I've played this game. And to make us pay for it in cash came as shock for most of us.

  10. Could be a repeat of what they have already responded too. It's unlikely that they are gonna respond to as many inquiries as possible but more so use the thread to funnel all the comments.

    Also what Day said lol

Regardless, i doubt anyone will see tangible changes immediately. Obviously something is happening if you've got a Dev responding at all, that doesn't happen too often outside of help tickets and contests. So my advice is just patience šŸ¤žšŸ»

  11. I really totally agree to that idea, but please donā€˜t put the prices that high for JUST the Avis. Thatā€™s just completely ridiculous then!
Make a bundle like on Black Friday XC Avis for example (the blond version of the one Iā€˜m wearing). Put in some extra for the players so theyā€˜re more willing to buy it as just the Avi. But please not just like 5 DNs or some bs šŸ˜…

Also Iā€™m one of the players that would really like to see old Avis coming back (still willing to pay for them) even if time is passing and nothing happens Iā€™m losing a bit hope in that šŸ˜† I will have that hope still for the next..I dunno..years? šŸ˜‚

  12. I think people just got upset that the first response we finally get from ATA after days had a condescending tone and said that most of this thread was childish, which isn't true. Most people expected them to recognize and try to understand our side, not immediately get super defensive.

And I don't think whole explanatory messages should be discredited just because ATA couldn't handle having the word "greed" among 3 other paragraphs of valid points.
People got heated for a reason, and in my opinion reflecting on why this collective rage happened is more productive than crying out "bullying" against a company. This is honestly the first time I have seen a business respond like this to negative feedback. And believe me, most companies out there get much worse anger than this.
(Also please, I'm not saying it is right to be rude or troll, I just understand why people got heated).

I'm sorry about the extensive message.

  14. donā€™t be sorry! This was what I was tryna say in first paragraph of my long message. Thanks for this

  15. Oh I understand the reasoning behind the backlash. Itā€™s entirely reasonable to feel the way most of the players do.

I just meant not to feel disheartened if you didnā€™t get a direct response šŸ˜Š Iā€™m glad to know that most players have calmed down a bit and are clairifying what crisicism they have to help improve the issue.

  16. Thank you for locking my thread, apparently thereā€™s no freedom of speech on this game. From what I can tell, youā€™re only responding to irrelevant comments that only support you but ignoring the questions asked by the community. Why wonā€™t you listen to us as a community, respond to us as your clients? Do not treat us like children when in actuality we are the reason this game is popular.

  17. Instead of getting defensive why don't you calmly explain what questions you feel have been unanswered?

Clearly they want to keep all the feedback and comments in one place, don't take that personally

  18. I come back to this thread only to see true constructive criticism get ignored and scoffed at by a freakin admin talking down to us. If I wasn't discouraged and disheartened before, you can bet I am now. As soon as my club's session is done I'm deleting this app. If this is how admins respond to such a genuine outcry then why should I trust anything else behind this game. I'm literally too ill to waste time on this game just to see belittled for expressing their concerns. My disabled a$$ is out of here āœŒ

  19. Can I just say how proud I am of this community and the dedicated members who are refusing to let this die.

We were belittled an brushed aside, and while mine and possibly many others immediate response was anger, we decided to match this treatment we were given not with insults and blind rage, but with tact.

We were told we were being childish, from the #NoMoneyMarch I assume, we were told we weren't giving anything constructive in our criticism, and we were told we wouldn't be taken seriously by using "flowery" language such as "greedy".

But we didn't let that stop us, we made paragraphs detailing our feeling without the hashtag, without using insults. We made posts in a way that wouldn't give them reason to belittle us again, wouldn't give them a chance to find little excuses to ignore us.

We should all be proud of what we're doing even if it's disheartening. We're standing for a cause we believe in.

No good change was ever made by being silent, so I encourage you all to keep it up.

It might seem to others that people are just bringing up the same points, but it's because we all believe similar things, and we want to be heard.

And I don't mean to come off as obnoxious, that's last thing I want, but being obnoxious and making sure we're heard are two completely different things, and don't ever for a second think you're obnoxious.

I don't know if our questions will ever be answered here, but maybe making a ticket and asking questions directly will give us some sort of answer. I know I've considered it.

But I'm through with rambling, just know if you are reading this and you feel like you're words are falling on deaf ears, I hear you. Many others hear you. And you're truly doing amazing

  20. Since the discussion moved here imma bring this herešŸ˜Ŗ
I personally think ATA is lucky to have players that are actively giving feedback even tho discouraged as "bitter" and "childish".
Saying we should be able to get spice from ATA back, no suprises coming from a company that lowkey promote cyber-bullying. An eye for an eye huh?

But then really, is respect really expected if it feels like theres no respect given?
