Judge me all you want but I get free laundry today. My building typically charges $2 per wash and $2 per load and the machines are not that big so this gets very pricey. However, today (or maybe another day) some person with loose morals took out the tray that all the coins fall into and I'm assuming stole all the cash. The building manager hasn't noticed yet so when I stuck my toonie in the washer, it fell right back out but the washer still turned on!!! So I am doing all my laundry today while it is free and I will have saved anywhere from 20-40 dollars depending on how far I end up going. My morals are not as loose as the one who actually stole the money but you can bet I will take advantage of their nefarious deeds. If I left my toonie there for the landlord one of the other tenants would probably jack it anyway. Tell me about your loose morals and if I laugh I'll give you misc.
I found $100 on the floor of my work once and asked my manager what happens to found money. When she said it goes back into the store's HR fund because they can't prove the owner of cash, I kept it and bought myself groceries.
Situations like that are iffy for me. Ideally I would return what was lost (especially if it was a lot) but if there's no way to return to the original owner then ya, might as well feed yoself 💁♀️
One of my old managers lost money and I didn't really like him, he went home and I found some money, have no clue whose money it was but I got a couple bucks. 🤷🏻♂️ I didn't steal it, it was on the ground and I saw it
O, I would also be doing all my laundry today. 😆 This past Christmas at an employee Christmas party, I found $20 in the bathroom and pocketed it. I told myself there was no point asking whose it was, because it would suddenly be everyone's; however, if someone mentioned they lost it, I would give it back. So, later, when someone mentioned they lost their money, I asked some questions pretending to be interested in helping out, decided it was indeed hers, and forked it over... That's as nefarious as I get. 🙃
I took a graphic design class during my junior year of high school. We had computers provided for us in class but the high school also gave us laptops that we could use. I had forgotten my laptop that day and had use the class computer. Well the previous student that had used it forgot to log out. Now I could’ve just logged out and called it good but I decided I’d mess with them a bit. I pulled up chrome but before I could get to far in my scheming I discovered that they had a tab open and logged into Netflix. I may or may not have used their account to watch Disney movies and completly messed up their recommendation algorithm.
When I used to go to the laundromat there was one dryer that had a broken timer...if you put your quarter in it would keep running until you opened the door. I always used that dryer
One time, over a century ago, a killed and mutilated a bunch of women in London and got away with it. Nbd, though.
Reminds me of a time I got on the computer at my school but the person didn't log out their email so I just browsed their emails and ya know. Don't tell the government tho.
My first job out of esthetics school had a box of discontinued makeup testers, some unopened and i took quite a few. They couldn't sell them and they literally stayed in that box for months before i took any. Ooo and i used to fill my own nails during paid time when it wasn't busy and i was the only one there. 🤷🏻♀️
Tbh tho I didn't get to do all my laundry. I tried but after two loads apparently the rest of the building realized it was free laundry today and I was competing w two other tenants for machine space so I gave up. I still got in two loads tho for free so yay. 8 bucks saved. Maybe it'll still be like this next Sunday but probs not :c
