  1. Mostly because this issue is actively being silenced in media, hence why people are not talking about it. It's an issue of not knowing what's going on.

Awareness is crucial for humanitarian issues. International and civilian pressure that comes from pure knowledge does lots

  2. I didn’t know about any of that, knowledge is power. Especially if you spread awareness, tell people what you know. May run into someone who does know how to help or someone who can raise higher awareness to the situation. Thanks for the information, I’m sorry all of it is happening 

  3. Or not

  4. Exactly :)

  5. Not true, there have been many cases where Russia vetoed against foreign aid. Knowledge by the public caused interference and action.

The bigger problem is the lack of knowing what's happening

  6. Bet

You can also let other people know. It's less messier

  7. Oh that's been on the news for like a solid week, far from being ignored.

    But thx for the msg.

  8. That's completely messed up. Thanks for bringing this to attention. If the media won't cover this type of shit our voices will.

  9. I am just gonna stalk this thread now

  12. sudan has been experiencing political unrest for DECADES – heck, there was a civil war between the government and sudanese rebels, hence the existence of south sudan. i agree that awareness is important, but clickbait-y titles aren’t the way to go about informing people. if someone really cares about an issue, they’ll read the information regardless.

  13. There’s really nothing we can do with this information.

  14. It's pretty relevant, I think. People are getting killed and rāped cus they want freedom.

But again, at least you know

  15. Except presssure the government to do Vietnam again but in Sudan this time

  16. Ty for reading tho

  17. No just leads to bigger issues

  18. so you do have a heart ?

  19. No I don’t
    I’m just being logical.

  20. The Darfur crisis still doesn't call for being desensitized to the current issues happening in Sudan.

As for the South Sudan issue, they gained their independence in 2011.

This is a completely different crisis because these are regular civilians who were able to overthrow their president, but are being killed and brutally attacked for fighting towards democracy.

Basically regular rights that westerners have

It's important not to be desensitized even if a country has been in turmoil for a while. Nevertheless, this problem is very recent.
