Yeah, nothing is stopping you from setting a personal goal to plant trees for every 1k drops you earn.

Wish it was possible, but they'd stop developing or have to hire tree planters to make it true (and they won't pay people to plant trees). Thousand of players are getting 1k drops every hunt.

But, players could make the commitment/set the goal to plant a tree every time someone from their club reaches 1k drops or something like that, according to everyone's realistic possibilities.

 

I don't think Canada has a shortage of trees
