So, I’m not sure if there’s a thread like this already, but I haven’t seen one and I just came up with this idea. Reply with your favorite TV shows and what they’re about! Here’s mine: The 100 (CW) This is my favorite show everrrr. It’s like a sci-fi dystopian thriller about 100 juvenile delinquents who are sent to Earth to see if it’s survivable again. The characters lived in a huge spaceship called “The Ark” their whole lives after there was too much radiation on Earth to live with. These delinquents think they’re being sent down to die because they’re running out of oxygen up in space, but turns out they can survive and they aren’t alone on the earth. There a new problem every season and it just gets progressively better. Northern Rescue (Netflix Original) This show only has one season right now as its fairly new but it’s about a family of 4 (dad, son, 2 daughters) who go to live with their aunt after the kids’ mom dies of cancer. Their aunt’s house ends up burning down when they arrive so they move in to what used to be an aquarium. It’s really cute, as there’s a penguin who they discover has been living there so they keep it as a pet. The Umbrella Academy (Netflix Original) So this show is based on comic books written by Gerard Way. It’s about this “family” of superheroes who discover that the world is going to end and they try to figure out what the cause is and if they can prevent it. I don’t usually like superhero based things but it doesn’t feel like a cliche superhero show as the characters act as a normal family most of the time. One of them can talk to the dead, one can time travel and teleport, one has super strength, one can sense people and throw knives toward them, etc. The show takes a pretty huge turn when one of them discovers something about herself that she never knew.
I donut rly have a fav tv show but i like The Good Place and recommend it to everyone. Riverdale has gone kinda downhill with season 3 but I am emotionally attached and still tune in every week. I also like Don't Trust the Bìtch in Apartment 23 and Bob's Burgers.
I don't watch a lot of TV show but the one I currently like is "Nathan for You". Basically it's a docu-reality by a comedian named Nathan Fielder, who also has a Bussiness degree, that he uses to help small bussiness. However, while doing so he plays a character and uses an unorthodox marketing champaign, to the point no other bussiness consultant ever attempt what he does. Like for example making a yogurt with taste like poo or even strip himself in front of children with a robot by using a loophope in law so he doesn't get sued. Basically he plays a character, but the reaction he gets and everything else are real.
Currently re-watching now. I think I got my mate hooked on it as well.(refused to watch before me :3) But I don’t want anything current accept for Mom family guy as well but wait for that bih to hit up Hulu
I looove The 100 I binged all the seasons faster than I’m proud to admit ? season 6 is coming soon and I’m not hyped about it tbh, it looks like they struggled with their budget or their prop choices look way too funky ??♂️
6x01 premiered already, and 6x02 is on tomorrow. I personally loved it and it got me hyped for the rest of the season. A lot of people thought it felt rushed though but i think it will be an exciting season, the production quality looks pretty good so far at least in my opinion
Reign, The originals, Siren, Game if thrones, Lucifer, White Gold, Shadow Hunters. Everything I'm watching at the moment
o I didn’t know I’ll have to go check it out but from I see in teasers and stuff it looked a bit tacky
The Magicians, Grimm, The librarians, Runaways, Merlin, Adventure Time, Russian Doll, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Stranger Things. Grace and Frankie, Glow, Gilmore Girls. There’s a lot more but I don’t feel like naming them all rn. (Everything listed can be found on Hulu or Netflix)
