Recently one of my friends were farmed for months and was told to request a ceasefire and when she said no, the farmer took it to a next level and began stalking her in real life. My point is this thread is meant to show how to be cautious around farmers. The reality: 1. As everyone knows, farming is part of the game and yes ATA has implemented “passes” but the underlying problem remains. 2. ATA really doesn’t care so reporting farmers or a farming club will cause little to no change. 3. If you have low stats you’re already at a disadvantage. Some of farmers tricks: 1. They use many alter accounts, so you never know who is their main. 2. They will put an alt in your club to see how your club is coping with their farming and the tricks you use to counteract their attacks. 3. When you’re offline, they hire your tutors (so your money is returned) and farm you to gain the money. 4. They will ask you to leave your club to break up your club. Some solutions: 1. Don’t put ‘NO SFW ALLOWED’ on club wall. Makes your club a target. 2. Do not post on their wall just gives them attention or add them. 3. Bank your money. 4. They usually ask for bentos, stat items etc but just Ignore. Ignore. Ignore. I know many other threads exist but keeping everyone up-to-date on the ever-changing game is important. These are just a few tips but upon request feel free to message me and I’ll provide some deeper insights. Feel free to post names of those who you know are farmers/ farming clubs, any other tips and expose any tricks you may know, to give everyone a fair chance.
I appreciate what you’re doing but farming has been apart of this game since the beginning. If you’re friend is being stalked by a farmer irl then they need to precautions against that and the said farmer needs to grow some balls and get a life, taking the game way to far and way to serious.
I mean farming is apart of the game....also how is your friend being stalked irl what personal info are they giving out ?
Rule 1 when doing anything online. Don’t give away any information you wouldn’t give to some shady guy you just met on the street. That’s common sense.
Ignoring pretty much solves 90% of sfws targeting smaller stats players ya. Alas no one ever does that, they always gotta be snarky and rude tryna prove how tough they are or smthing
Just another tidbit to add to solutions don't post in forums complaining about farmers because it puts a really easy target on your back All jokes aside lets all read up on our internet safety guide so you don't get creeps finding you irl.
Ur friend getting farmed for month n took in the next level to stalk in rl but ur point r different
Farming is a part of the game. It used to actually be the main reason people played the game. Just as a quick reminder, the more attention you bring to yourself/a friend who’s being farmed, the more likely it is to continue. Especially posting it on forums. You can chose not to take part in farming by simply ignoring the person, draining your health bar immediately when being hit, asking for a CF or getting some of your friends to help you by teaming up to hit the other person, if you can’t do it alone due to stats. Also, if your friend feels threatened irl by a stalker, that’s an issue you must take up with your local authorities. Stay safe!
Agreed. Contact law enforcement. ATA can only do so much once issues leave the PIMD app, including occurances in the physical world. In their ToU, they encourage users to contact law enforcement when personal safety feels threatened.
