  1. Hi, I wanna know the saddest song lyric you know, please provide the name of the song and the artist just incase people wanna go listen to the song and cry themselves to sleep. I will gift the ones that get me in my feels. Good luck.

  2. I forgot to post my lyric. Its probably not the saddest I've heard but I have bad memory and can't remember much.
"I'd rather sleep forever, if it means I don't have to look in the mirror" Hollow Shell ~ Dayseeker

  3. “I don’t wanna die” it’s sad because he doesn’t want to die anymore

  4. O

  5. Crying thyself to sleep sounds like a real blast, I gotta try it sometime.

  6. Facts.

  7. I paced around for hours on empty
I jumped at the slightest of sounds
And I couldn't stand the person inside me
I turned all the mirrors around

    Halsey- Control???

  8. I'm in a sad song mood atm and these are the two most recants on my playlist

"A man walks down the street
He says why am I short of attention
Got a short little span of attention
And wo my nights are so long
    Where's my wife and family
    What if I die here
    Who'll be my role-model
    Now that my role-model is
    Gone Gone"
From 'Call Me Al' by Paul Simon which is, surprisingly, far more depressing than its upbeat tune.

"When I say I'll be cavalier
And when you undress me I'll pretend not to care
    Because I am a soldier
    Yeah, I am a soldier
And I'll stare tight lips into space
So while your greedy hands take what they can get
    All they get is me"
From 'I am a Soldier' by A Love Like Pi

  9. I need emotion Novocaine, I need a numbing of my brain
I need something to take away the remains of your name
I need amnesia for a day and an umbrella for the rain
That hasn’t gone away since you said you didn’t need me

  10. I guess i kinda liked the way you numb all the pain -Lewis Capaldi

  11. More fool me ~ Genesis

Is a song about becoming a widower

Johnny Cash's hurt? I mean, pretty popular and sad.

I'm gonna check out the other saddies

  12. “Blood” - The Middle East

  13. “but now my baby is dancing with another man” - bruno mars

  14. Four o'clock in the afternoon
And I didn't feel like very much.
I said to myself, "Where are you golden boy,
Where is your famous golden touch?"
    I thought you knew where
All of the elephants lie down,
I thought you were the crown prince
Of all the wheels in Ivory Town.
Just take a look at your body now,
    There's nothing much to save
And a bitter voice in the mirror cries,
"Hey, Prince, you need a shave."
Now if you can manage to get
    Your trembling fingers to behave,
    Why don't you try unwrapping
    A stainless steel razor blade?
That's right, it's come to this,
    Yes it's come to this,
And wasn't it a long way down,
Wasn't it a strange way down?
    There's no hot water
And the cold is running thin.
Well, what do you expect from
The kind of places you've been living in?
    Don't drink from that cup,
It's all caked and cracked along the rim.
That's not the electric light, my friend,
That is your vision growing dim.
Cover up your face with soap, there,
    Now you're Santa Claus.
And you've got a gift for anyone
Who will give you his applause.
I thought you were a racing man,
Ah, but you couldn't take the pace.
That's a funeral in the mirror
And it's stopping at your face.
That's right, it's come to this,
    Yes it's come to this,
And wasn't it a long way down,
Ah wasn't it a strange way down?
    Once there was a path
And a girl with chestnut hair,
    And you passed the summers
Picking all of the berries that grew there
There were times she was a woman,
Oh, there were times she was just a child,
And you held her in the shadows
    Where the raspberries grow wild.
And you climbed the twilight mountains
And you sang about the view,
    And everywhere that you wandered
Love seemed to go along with you.
That's a hard one to remember,
Yes it makes you clench your fist.
And then the veins stand out like highways,
    All along your wrist.
And yes it's come to this,
    It's come to this,
And wasn't it a long way down,
Wasn't it a strange way down?
You can still find a job,
Go out and talk to a friend.
On the back of every magazine
There are those coupons you can send.
Why don't you join the Rosicrucians,
They can give you back your hope,
You can find your love with diagrams
    On a plain brown envelope.
But you've used up all your coupons
    Except the one that seems
To be written on your wrist
    Along with several thousand dreams.
    Now Santa Claus comes forward,
That's a razor in his mit
And he puts on his dark glasses
And he shows you where to hit
    And then the cameras pan,
    The stand in stunt man,
    Dress rehearsal rag,
It's just the dress rehearsal rag,
You know this dress rehearsal rag,
It's just a dress rehearsal rag

Dress Rehearsal Rag by Leonard Cohen

-not the saddest song, but very good lyrics and the first one that came to my mind

  15. Jealous - Labyrinth

  16. Sad by tentacles

  17. Aye. This is a good song. I first heard it around two years ago and it still hits the feels.

  18. How could you leave us - NF

    it hits you everywhere ?

  19. "Rest your head now, little girl
    You're on your way now
Open your mind up to the sky
    And fly away now
    You've got nothing to prove
You got no one to hurt you
You got no one to pull you down push you around
    Make you frown and cry
    You are alone now"

It somehow always makes me feel kinda sad.. It's a great song but sometimes too tough to listen to.

  20. Ahhhhhhhhhhh I love love love this song
