Chill has a cold. Feel free to recommend any home remedies that you use to get well when you are not feeling your best.
Stay hydrated. What I like to do is add lemon into my water, which helps stool pass through easier and of course prevents dehydration. If you have a sore throat, gargle some salt water for x amount or suck on candy. A humidifier can relieve congestion, too. Also, drink some tea.
Lots of water. Hot tea w/ sugar or honey. Lots of kleenex so you can blow that nose and get the junk out quicker.
If you’re chilly, change your name. What kind of “under the weather?” Cough? Sore throat? Or more of the “gimme the Pepto” type?
Vick’s VapoRub and some ginger ale. But srsly, I take (1) 500mg tablet of vitamin c (1) 500mg pill of b-12 (1) multivitamin (1) ibuprofen twice a day until I feel better. Except the b-12. I only take that in the morning and a melatonin at night. I also eat lots of soup, drink tea and water religiously, take hot baths with peppermint oil for my stuffy nose, stay warm and get a good amount of rest. Hope you get to feeling better soon! ?
Too late for vitamins to have fought off symptoms, many rarely work as a deterrent in the first place. Hot toddy with spirit of choice may help one sweat it off better. The honey makes it go down easier than straight spirit alone. Also coats a coarse felt throat. Lemon brightens up the flavor better than using store bought medicine to remedy imo. Good luck getting through your cold symptoms btw.
