  1. A NEW YEAR OF RESOLUTE HOPE

    The anticipation is done,
a new year of resolute hope has come,
A new beginning where the vivid comfort will reside
hopefully, one that feels like home,
    one where good things hide.

The night is barely enough so we stay until dawn and wait for the first signs of morning.
This new year, I pray that may we never say no to another shot,
Never skip breakfast, even at noon.
Always make a room at the table,
    never miss a punch line,
a beat, every chance to dance,
a chance to celebrate, raise your glass to something bigger than yourselves.

This year, may we not stay afloat.
May we paddle out to sea, or back to the safety of pure shores, champagne sands,
lying on the grass and counting animal-shaped clouds
or those planes on their way to some place
that makes them feel exactly like this.
May we, in counting stars, in losing track, learn patience.

And when the year ends again,
it will leave when the skies turn into a purple, glimmering splatter, stirring up sleeping dust
on the dirt road and imagine it settling softly behind us.

We will raise our glasses again saying,
“Here’s to the fresh start, to the new year
A toast to the shoreline of frothing cheer.
A toast to us, for being here.”

  2. So there’s this

    Then I cut it up

    To create this~

the stars I literally just crunched them up to look like that, but I’ll go as far as saying it’s origami
So the background is a paper mosaic theme like the stained glass windows at churches, ya get the idea m8
Uhm if I’m not allowed to draw an alcoholic drink then let’s just say that is cranberry juice :D
This was a fun but slow process, cuz I had to glue on the little colored pieces bit by bit and It was a cool experience cuz I’ve never done this kind of thing before. Yeah, happy late New Years everyone!

  4. I thought I’d join the bandwagon real quick

I know some of ya’ll are lazy to read my writing so...

    A new year?
Onward! We shift the gates of the future and steal a peep
At what awaits us beyond that mountain peak
    That always seems to shield the leeway to contempt we desire;
Yet visions and wishes thicken it’s conventional attire.
We aspire for a time of learning, a time for rekindling
Strings of lost hope we’ve ended up leaving
Behind us, but when will we ever learn that’s it’s never meant to be?
Same old year; same old me.
    But maybe it’ll really change this time around;
Maybe it’ll birth a new awaited sound
That’ll guide us into success; a portal of new found happiness.

But we’ve only just begun, so let’s adjust to see
Beyond the restricted perceptions of our bold naivety.

I’m sorry, this isn’t my best work but I tried 

(I couldn’t think of a good title because quite frankly I suck at it :/ )

  5. Omg! Dope Af!

  8. O this is most impressive

  9. The paper art reminds me of a cartoon that my nephew watches where the whole cartoon is paper art.

  10. This is really beautiful and i especially love the part about trusting yourself to create a dream and just believing in yourself in general 

  11. Thanks ?

  13. ************"TRASHION"************

So hey there! I kinda had this new years resolution of conserving/recycling trash/reusable items. I decided to make a paper dress because I thought that it would help the environment. Yes, lol thats right! Paper recycling reduces greenhouse gas emissions. How? Recycling paper saves energy, water and landfill space. Recycling one ton of paper saves 17 trees and more than three cubic yards of landfill space. Btw, i found some used papers from unneeded printed files from before. So i thought of making a dress cause why not? I wont throw the dress away because ill use it in events like cosplay and other stuff. I might even turn/transform the dress into something new :) Also creating this was a ton of fun and also a last minute idea. Complete with accessories xD. Every material present in the final product is recycled :).It might be kind of basic but atleast its contributional lol sorry its blurrrrreeeedd :p

  14. Thanks to everyone that participated in the contest. I'll post the result in forum soon!

    Locking ~
