If your stats are small, I wouldn't rush to % items yet. % items derive their bonuses based on your dormies, thus, if you have low stats, you really don't get a huge boost.... ....however! I'm assuming you are talking about the % boosts coming from furniture. When you level up to the % bonus stages, you keep the accumulated bonuses in the form of an award granted once you hit those stages. Price-wise, though, upgrading furniture is very expensive; especially for certain pieces like beds and 999s. Buying misc stat items with bentos rather than furni is often a better choice until the bonus from the % is big enough to matter Tldr: % bonus is based on dorm strength. You'll have to balance cost vs. bonus provided to determine if it's worth it. Just don't forget you don't sacrifice the bonuses leading up to the % bonus.
