So if you don't know about these, it's a collection of comics that illustrate people's fears. Some are irrational, or just intrusive thoughts that come to one's mind out of nowhere. I'll leave an example here and if you like it, a quick search can give you hundreds of comics with some funny fears and other pretty dark ones. It's entertaining. But the point of this thread is - what would be yours? I'll start with two of mine: • My bed is close to the wall, and one day I fear that I'll be facing the wall and a huge insect is going to crawl up. • When I'm holding my phone close to a really high place (like a window or a balcony) I put it in my pocket because I'm afraid I'll get the urge to throw it down. What are your deep, dark fears?
My deepest most darkest fear is da flying roach, once that mo.fo starts flying, I'm outta there bruh.
Ceiling fans that make noise when they’re going. I always feel like they’re gonna fly off the ceiling and decapitate me in my sleep.
You know when you go REALLY fast on a sharp turn and you swear you can feel the vehicle lifting off the road?? That’s my worst fear. I’ve been in a rolling car accident and I’d rather not do that again. Safe driving or no driving thanks.
I have a phobia of the elderly, tbh. It used to be much worse when I was a kid. Like, I'd temporarily lose my damn mind and irrationally believe that age spots and wrinkles were contagious and would devour me. It was a whole thing. But, now I am just scared of growing old- essentially becoming the one thing I am most frightened of. My darkest fear is losing my dog, though.
I have a phobia of deep dark water where I can’t see the bottom, especially the ocean. My legs get tingly when I picture myself floating above a dark ocean trench.
"Especially when driving" made me laugh. :lol: The month after I had gotten my license, an elderly woman was driving towards me in the wrong lane on the highway after getting onto it through an exit, apparently. She was pulled over and taken home but idk what else. I was spooked af.
I had a fear when i was a child that when i flushed the toilet it might turn into a monster and try and eat me. So i would wash my hands first, crack the door open, flush the toilet and bolt down the stairs.
