Not sure if it's gonna upload. This is my cake. This year I decided to make everything. For the cake I've done an easy batter from 8 eggs,8 spoons of sugar, mixed them and at the end added 8 spoons of flour and slowly mixed the flour to make sure I kept the air in. Baked it for 25-30 minutes, let it to cool down than the interior is chocolate cream, with pears and a lot of juice to keep the cake moist and tasty, nobody likes a dry cake. Easy to make but for me was a real pain because I haven't done anything like this in 6 years.
Idk what is its English name but in our country we call it Nilaga add some fish sauce and its perfect with some soda
I like the before and after pics. Also, instructions because most of these look store bought. Like if you do cookies show you putting on the icing. I'm just saying.
here are my contributions, it's the only pics I have with my id tag. the first is the fava salad, with chorizo, coriander, garlic, olive oil, mint, tomato sauce.... and next to it there is a aragula pesto that I made with hazelnuts, because I didn't have anything else haha. the second one is a pleurotus tart, on a kind of foccacia basis, with the same aragula pesto, and seasoned aragula
Christmas Lunch with Scarlett I made a green salad with homemade salad dressing. Dressing: Olive oil, brown sugar, Italian Balsamic vinegar and black pepper Salad: lettuce, grated carrot, grated butternut, grated beetroot and cubed feta cheese For the meat dish I made: A honey glazed pork belly basted with Italian herbs and seasoning, and corned beef marinated in Guinness Dry Stout, Five spice and Bay leaves for 5 days. I slow cooked the corned beef for 24 hours. Baked the pork belly for 5 hours. Paired with white Sauvignon Blanc Bon Apetit!!
Hopefully this’ll works. Not sure if I’m doing it right since it’s my first time posting here also, pls ignore the crappy lighting Anyways, say hello to my late breakfast. This dish is called Shakshuka. It’s just eggs poached in tomato sauce with onions, red pepper and spiced w/ whatever it is that u prefer tbh. Personally, i love it VERY spicy so I used quite a few cayene powder, nutmeg, gochugaru, gochujang, black pepper and a bit of sugar. Occasionally, I like to add in some mozzarella but right now I’m just too lazy and too hungry to do so..
