A PIMD THEME ARRANGE THE SHUFFLED LETTERS ? IT WOULD BE FUN AND HARD AT THE SAME TIME I THINK . LIKE THERE ARE SO MANY ITEMS FURNIS AVATAR AND OTHER MORE STUFFS ABOUT PIMD. WHY GO TRIVIA IF YOU CAN JUST JUMBLE THE LETTERS
Did you read the whole post, it also explains about how you can say something good you've done for the community
Lol I just ran a scavenger hunt on a small scale to work out the kinks, people seemed to have fun so full support! (though tbh after my next trial run of it I'll be bringing it to forums so either way hopefully y'all will have a scavenger hunt soon lol)
What about like a Star Wars theme. But like the main goal is to collect the most light sabers and who collects the most will be a Jedi master
Well i was thinking. Since the Nod crates are new items. Why nit make a Contest to make people learn all the items in there (there are many) and do a Trivia about it. Go into pub and name one of the items. Then, the first one to combine that item to it’s mod wins. Do three rounds to make three people happy. Here is a little example: As a mod you go into pub and say: “To which mod is the the Salt BB item revered?” Next up. The first person who say in pub: “Ang!” Wins the mod crate. In this way people will probably start to take a better look in the crates and remember the names. They get more familiar with the items and all te mods around PiMD... So why not?♀️?
I love how mods avoided the forums/ignored them until the crates came out. I guess when the crate hype dies out so will they.
That was her giving examples for contest ideas. It wasn't her actually telling us to share what we've done.
Its about who is the fastest to tell the right mod. Maybe even do you have to say the full ign and perfectly spelled so that people start trying to find out the real igns (some arent fully shown in the description) and since the point is to be the fastest you cant go to a box scroll through all the items, find it, remember the name of te mod, going back to pub and finally post the mods name. Others will highly likely be faster than you?♀️
We should do a PIMD rewind, kind of like YouTube rewind where players can express PIMD’s greatest (and worst) moments of 2018, through a picture slideshow, whether it be hunts, avi’s, unexpected app downtime? forum posts about trading avis? I think it wouldn’t be that bad of an idea since everyone here is opinionated, it’s a good way for ATA to get some *creative* and constructive feedback from their players while also making it fun to watch. Slideshows can be made through online sites and direct links can be shared on a post. It’ll be a good way to ring in the new year. Winners could be determined by, mods choosing and people’s voting. Of course it would be respectful and there would be no bashing, just honest, thought out opinions while remaining creative and fun.
Regarding the Mod crates, will new mods from the next round of hires get to have items added to the crates, or will the crates stay as is even after the next round of hires? I'm asking because (and I hope people don't give me crap for this), I plan on becoming a mod during the next round of hires. I word that statement as such because of my hours of activity being mostly at times when I see no mods active in the US campus, and believe as such it would be difficult for AtA to reject my application. Anyway, the original part of this post should be the focus, the part regarding the items in the Mod crates, and possible addition of more items to them with the addition of more Mods.
examples of helping the community activities: what have you done to make pimd a better place, experiences you’ve had with other players that helped you a lot etc.
Yeah, that's the part I was referencing. Read the parts above that. That quoted piece is an elaboration of the types of contests she was referring to, as I said. Examples of the contest category "helping the community".
