Anyway, last adult book i read was A Darker Shade of Magic. Issa series and so far i like it aldoe i haven't started the second yet. It's about magic and parallel worlds.

I also recommend extremely loud and incredibly close. Issa funny-sad story with a little boy as the main character and his dad just died from 9/11. He like goes on a hunting mission and meets a bunch of weird people for his dad.

Ooh read Children of Blood and Bone, it's about a nigerian girl who conjures dark magic. Really worth the read and is well written
