  1. Are avatars getting older?



    So, I was just minding my own business like I always do. But then, while busy looking at campus chat I saw this 2 avatars. It made me think..





    It made me think so hard.. Is there more to the story of Pimd?

    other than just getting random avatars each hunt (or it could be them recycling character designs)




    JUST look how similar they are! Except for the eyes, but, you know.. it might be contact lenses.. but seriously, anyone of you know other similar looking avatars? The one to the left looks like a freshman given that its been a buddy box avi for awhile now, and the other one looks older like a senior, given that it's one of this hunts avi.

    What do you think of all this, let me know. I think it's pretty cool.

  8. If someone could give me a nice theory explaining this, i'd really like to hear it :D its pretty cool.
    Like maybe the avas from halloween was doing some sort of ritual then ka bam. They ded, lingered in ata university as ghosts that can be summoned only by collecting bats or axes.

  16. I think ata's artist(s) just don't put much effort into a lot of their normal hunt avatars so they end up repeating and looking similar. The prettiest (and most original) avis are usually the spinner ones, box avis and leaderboard.

  17. It would be really cool if they did have their own stories like how hunt quests have some sort of story and dialogue.
    Or if they had time progression like these ones here but different poses..
    but yes I agree that not all hunt avis are attractive. Imo I think its so that, paid avis will look more attractive than they really are compared to hunt avis. And its working bc lots of people tend to buy paid avis(and regret it after purchase). Though I wish pimd had a story, ie explaining why we are some sort of landlady who owns and rents dorms, its pretty weird
