They're cool, I really don't think it's weird for a guy to be a nurse, it's not like it's a female only job Bills gotta be paid somehow and also nurses are highly under appreciated
i've never had one ? but i've been in an ambulance with a male EMT he knew his job and it went well, so i wouldn't see a problem with a male nurse imo
One of my siblings is studying to eventually become a male nurse..gender of nurses shouldn’t matter as long as they can do what’s required of them correctly.
What’s the difference between a male nurse and a female nurse? They both worked for where they are. As long as they’re happy and do their job well, anyone else's opinions* especially based solely on their gender in their field of work shouldn’t matter.??♀️
Am indifferent as long as i and others have the option to have a female. Personally, i won't see a male doctor for anything other than eye/dentist/picking up cough syrup stuff
I've heard they get a lot of job offers. Some elderly men feel more comfortable with a male nurse seeing their private bits than a female.
I agree with this. My general physician and my gynocologist have to be female ー especially the latter. I have no problem with men working in the field of gyncology... but I'm just more comfortable with a female.
My obgyn is a man and he's awesome. I see him every few weeks atm. I was scared to go to a male obgyn when I first had to go but I asked around and EVERYONE recommend him. No regrets, he's delivered 2 of my 3 kids and he's gonna deliver my 4th. Love him, he's part of the family at this point.
Honestly? I’ve come to prefer male nurses and doctors, though my current doctor who I see is a female. It may just be the area I’m in and my horrible luck, but I’ve found that a lot of the female nurses at my doctors office and hospital tend to be kind of rude and a bit overly blunt/sarcastic, especially when it’s unnecessary or a serious time. When I’ve had male nurses, especially one time when I was having one of my surgeries, they’ve been really kind and don’t make side comments normally.
Yeah but how about male teachers? Chicks may not like men taking care of their bits and private parts, but I think this also applies to teachers.
How does it apply to teachers? That's a completely different thing. Unless you're trying to suggest men are all pèdos
Many women think they are and feel uncomfortable leaving their children in the care of men. I believe that they believe that. That's why I'm asking. If that's alien to you, okay. I'm glad.
I'm aware some people feel that way, but I don't feel like the idea of having only female teachers should even be up for discussion. It alienates men and I think men and women have different viewpoints to show children and only being taught by women would leave children's education not as well-rounded as it could be. It's also just a ridiculous notion to think that all men are pèdophiles. Most women have fathers and brothers who are totally decent people and should know that. I've also never heard the idea of not wanting male teachers aside from you, a male. I've only heard of ppl being suspicious, not legit wanting to get rid of them.
