Based on your post yesterday and today it seems you’re having a rough time in whatever class you are in. Good luck tho
Are you mistaking neuroscience for psychology? The two are very different. They both involve the brain, but neuroscience is the physical properties of the brain and psychology is the mental and emotional facets.
forensic scientists have to have a strong stomach. im going to leave it there. I thought it’s what I wanted to do until I had to study fleshing eating insects. It disgusted me so much I decided to pursue a degree in psychology ?
While that's true, some of us don't puke at the sight of corpse(s) or parasitic insects nor the smell of rotten flesh.
Perhaps, I don't know any of them personally though. I know a few people who went into neurology and biomedical engineering focusing on Neuroscience. All 100% whack jobs. They're some creepy freaky people
oh, i can look at corpses and endure the rotten flesh smell all day but parasitic insects really did a number on me. i don’t want to say I love but I love seeing fractured bones up close and torn ligaments.
I have some training in these fields and have colleagues who pursued it further. Feel free to follow me to chat more.
Forensic science is nothing as it appears to be through the media with TV shows like CSI and Bones and what have you. This might seem obvious to some, but within the first 2 weeks of my program more than half dropped out lmao. It’s not all dead bodies and grimy stuff though. At least with my experience, it’s 80% lab work and the other 20% has to do with the actual crime scene stuff. But if you’d like to know more I went to school for 3 years for advanced forensics. Feel free to hit me up
Everyone I know that's gone into that field is a legit psychopath. Like, no inner voice, fuçk right vs wrong, psycopath since they were little kids.
I don’t have experience working a forensic science job, but I’ve had classes on forensic science and forensic psychology. Was going to be my career but then decided on something different ?
