I met him many times and I felt so welcomed by him. One of the coolest guys on this planet. I don’t think I’ve ever been so shocked. No way did I even imagine him dying so young. Devastated. Did you guys know Mac Miller? Not necessarily personally, but in general? Just curious
I knew of him. It’s heartbreaking to see how many people are broken over what happened, I hope everyone is alright soon. It’s been horrible seeing such a focus on blaming Ariana instead of mourning and focusing on what actually happened ):
I had never met him in person but he put on a good show in concert and made everyone feel good to be there. The guy was going through a lot and it is really sad but I can't say I was too surprised to hear the news. He had issues with drugs for awhile.
I knew he abused drugs, and I’m pretty sure that’s why Grande left him, but the person I met did not seem like the type to take it that far. Absolutely devastating
I'm pretty sure they aren't blaming Ariana Grande if she is the reason why his substance abuse got worse. You can mourn someone and acknowledge the cause and effect of their death. Btw OP, I know of him. He had his own show, it was dope. After watching his show I peeped his music. He had a song that I used to listen to on a daily basis... but after he got with Ariana Grande of all people... I couldn't get into his newer material. R.I.P. to him though.
Now what we aren’t going to do is this. What happened was either his choice or an accident (could’ve been a situation similar to Peep, I haven’t seen a confirmation on what exactly happened yet) People putting hurtful and unnecessary blame on individuals who tried to help him isn’t going to help him rest in peace.
I give credit where credit is due. It may be hurtful credit, but it isn't unnecessary. She didn't try to help him if she said she loved him and left and immediately got with Pete afterwards... left him sad and depressed. He can't rest in peace if the truth of cause and effect is cast aside because of people liking an individual to much to admit when they are wrong.
What made you think that was directed to you? But you are kind playing like both sides, unless I’m missing something. “They aren’t blaming her . . .” “she didn’t help him . . .” Kind of contradicting. You’d think the people who are blaming her would be blaming her for “not helping him” you know? Maybe understand what clout chasing means before you assume someone’s talking about you :3 because nothing you said would’ve given me right to call you that ?
My bad, I'm so used to people randomly quoting me to try to argue with me for attention that I assumed more would do so as well  They aren't blaming her, they're just acknowledging that his substance abuse got worse after their break up. That's what I was getting at
RIP. Never got the chance to meet or see him live. I used to listen to him around the time he released Best Day Ever & Blue Slide Park but after I just didn't keep up with him as much, although I did listen to some songs from The Divine Feminine. Really sad news..
I haven't seen those, but it is his fault for getting with her. I can't fully say she's the cause when he knew somewhat of what he was getting into... and he had so much talent too. Rapping, producing and he even had guest appearances on TV... he was young, still full of creativity...
