So, last night Mike took out one of the dead lightbulbs above our bathroom mirror.. I told him to be careful putting it down, as I have a phobia of broken glass, right? He puts it on our vanity, no issues.. Today Imma be a good wifey and clean the house I start with our washing, and see all the new lightbulbs his parents have stored in the cupboards in the laundry room.. Good wifey will replace the lightbulb too, so he doesn’t have to.. I shít you not, I freaking dropped that brand new lightbulb.. Tiny shards of the finest, frosted glass I’ve ever seen in my life are flung far and wide across our bathroom vanity and floor.. I stand there in shock, my heart is racing and I’m crying FML YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.. I picked up all the pieces I can see, but I’m so worried about moving my feet, who changes a lightbulb barefoot anyway? I jumped across to the carpet, ran downstairs and get the and vacuum, then started cleaning up.. it took me three freaking hours to clean the whole thing, just in case I missed a shard.. I’m still paranoid ? Anyone else out there sympathise? have any other phobias? Clumsy af? Let the people know
I break glass all the time. I moved a few months ago and was unpacking in my new apartment. I accidentally dropped a champagne glass and got shards all over the floor. I tried to clean it up but days later a tiny piece of glass got stuck in my foot as i was walking around the kitchen. I just hope that my kitty never stepped on any of the glass and only i suffered the consequences of my clumsiness.
Eh not really scared of broken glass, just annoyed when I break some. I have a huge phobia of feet tho. I have to mentally prepare myself for when anyone touches my feet. I can’t have other people feet in my face or I’ll vomit. I have no clue why I’m afraid of people touching my feet or afraid of other people’s feet but I am.
Just wear socks around there for a while, if you step on anything the sock will provide a bit of cushion.
I think this is common, we spend so much time around other people with shoes on, that feet become weird to us ? swimming carnivals at school used to freak me out
That’s a pretty good idea, but I’d be worried it’d stick to socks and I’d walk it through the carpeted areas or the house I have shoes next to the bathroom door lol
One time when I was younger I was playing barefoot in my yard, and I stepped on a broken glass bottle and almost cut off my toe. Like no joke, you could see bone. . . . ... I still walk around outside/inside barefoot. ?
I am clumsy no doubt there. My fear is of maggots. I don't know why but I freak out every time I see one. I won't touch the trash cans if even one is in it. When I was younger my brother went to defrost fish it's was really really hot he cut the fish pack open and maggots appeared all over the fish in less then an hour I made him spend 3 hours scrubbing my kitchen sink and counters with bleach
Not a phobia or anything, but if you place a cup of anything on the floor for who knows why, my foot will always connect with it somehow and the floor is ruined. Carpet and hardwood. Its weird.
My sisters fought and broke my glass table and I had to clean it up ? I’m not really paranoid about broken glass. I am clumsy af though. Okuuuurrr
Lmao Wyatt, I can see that about you I’m only like that if I try not to do it Kuroko, they broke your whole table? pretty sure I’d be paranoid for a month
My mum often tells a story about the time her sister fell onto and broke a glass table and about how it wasn't safety glass, and large chunks of glass got lodged in her arms and stuff. Crazy stuff. But smaller bits of glass will barely scrape your feet. Only gotta be extra careful if you have pets.
Y'all relationship is indeed admirable and inspirational, but you annoy me and y'all need to put FOOD Fanatic in the best of
