PvP Hunt thoughts

  3. Hi Seth. It could have been executed better. Killing normal pvp mechs ruined the hunt for many people. and ruined PIMD for many people.

    They could just make drops a third calculation on top of energy and cash loss.
     
  4. After all the threads asking for more PvP, I didn't expect a thread complaining about it. I think this is a good way to get people interested in the PvP side of the game. Ease the players into it, rather than throwing them into the deep end. I can understand the position of the PvP "purists", but at the same time you guys are really a minority. This hunt is a start, this is progress towards a less party-focused game.

  7. I think this hunt is flawed. In many ways. An alternative would be to make a separate pvp hunt button that only takes "idols" (or whatever item is in the next one), and leave the battle button to continue doing what it does. Or within the battle button have additional attacks that only take the hunt item. Same concept. Basically just add additional attacks that target only the pvp hunt. Trying to gain, then loose them at the same time was also weird. Plus parties are going on as well, as part of the same hunt. Maybe in the beginning of the hunt, pick either the party route, or the pvp route, a ss that's your choice for the whole hunt. It would be like two hunts going on at the same time, but they dont intermingle. Two separate hunts. And if you cant handle pvp, then it just not involved. Just my opinion.
