I think it's great that you posted this! I spend over half my time on pimd helping noob ppl and helping noob clubs get a good start! Noob are always welcome where I'm at and if not well I let them in anyway! But I have a rule! They have to show interest! If they come in and start asking questions and are active! The more I will help!I even started a noob account when the starter club first opened because there was no help there and I still help noobs out there and refer them to appropriate clubs! To everyone one else helping keep up the good work (cause it is work sometimes lol)
i don't care if the person is a noob, i just dislike the majority of people in general. on occasion, i consider myself a noob because i don't keep track of or pay attention to everything, nor do i know all the "lingo." it's all based on opinion in my head tbh.
Not only are they relatively rude to newbies when asking, they're also bullies. Some of the high stats players likes to power trip and make fun of the "noobs" like some of us are just getting started in the game, and they already wanted to leave because of its harshness, like we all know that pimd is a game. Its normal to hit players and farm them. But at least pick someone their own size!
When it comes to farming you know that if they can hit you.. you can hit them right? You can’t hit someone if they are to weak or to strong. So technically, they ARE picking someone their own size lol
Good luck... I’ve been getting hit by people 3 times my size for at least 3 months. Hasn’t really stopped me from doing much. I’m still one of the most well known mercs. Still was able to make top 10 in a hunt. Just did my first flash session ever today. I anticipate my rivals will be hitting me for the next 2 months as I intend to play the game my way until I’ve outgrown the game entirely on my own terms. Never let em try to play you... never let em think that they have phased you one bit... they can try harder next time... tell em a “city kid” said so... and give them a lil time to catch up and figure out what that even means. Rally your allies.... get stronger and attack them... stand on all ten.
People more than triple my size have tried to farm me and I can always hit them back. Of course I don’t succeed but I can still do it tbh ??♀️ but maybe I’m just to much of a ‘nub’ to know how it all works.
If you say so. Im js it’s not like it’s not someone ‘their size’. Because if it was, pretty sure you’d get DTW etc. so technically it’s in the realm of picking someone their own size ?♀️ But I’m the ‘nub’ after all! I don’t know much about anything.
Idk, I feel like it is a stats thing. One is more likely to dismiss another player if they feel there stats aren’t around a certain range. Regarding the newbs that quit though, that can definitely be frustrating. But tbh, most people that first join this game ignore the whole growing dorms part and focus on its social aspect. After becoming accustomed then they begin to become more aware of stats and the likes. Regardless, I still feel like this isn’t an excuse for old players to be dismissing and rude to new players. I do realize that there are some newbs who are genuinely annoying, asking for personal @s and all that stuff. I just wish the whole snooty vibe we get stops.
