This thread has been amazing , and I want to eat all of the pizzas pictured. *Drools* Tomatoes are not my friends, so I don't eat it often. I love this arugula and prosciutto pizza this place over by me makes though. SO. GOOD. And they have all these card and boardgames with family style long tables, so you can bring all your friends for pizza and game night. ^ My dad always raves about what he calls "Shepherd's pizzas" but when I google it, I get people tryna combine shepherd's pie with pizza. Mess. This is a pizza with a base of Olive oil and lamb. no tomato. I guess you could add rocket or something acidic too, or dress it up in other ways. But I guess the cleanest version would just be that. Olive oil, bits of (maybe braised?) lamb, and a mix of herbs/spices sprinkled on top. I mean chuck on some chilli, it's all good. You'd like with some red wine, Vic
Gave me an andalusian vibe but I did more googling and I found recipes for "lebanese lamb pizza" that looked similar.
I love all pizza, big and small, thin and thick, cheesy and meaty. Just don't put no damn pineapples on it. my favorite though is a stuffed pizza from Giordano's in chicago. If I cant have that, I'll take good old fashioned Digiorno stuffed crust frozen pizza. Pepperoni. With a sprinkle of sea salt, extra pepperoni, and an even coat of parm cheese. ?
