People block for a reason and the same goes for mods. There are other mods who can answer your question. Blocking doesn't make someone a bad mod especially since sometimes it's the best course of action.

I, personally have met a lot of people who insist on me adding them back and get a lot of indecent/creepy messages. Of course, I always follow back if asked to and try my best to answer their concerns but I disagree with having our pms open. And about the mod blocking you situation, you’ve most likely been rude, vulgar, or aggravated the mod. Mods are players too. Therefore, we deserve our privacy and your concern can always be walled️. Oof it’s a no for me :’) I usually try to follow if I see the player who tried to follow is silenced or if they have a concern that has to be discussed in private. Otherwise, I’ll usually say hey what’s up on wall and go from there (cri thx forums for cutting half my post off). I personally prefer to keep my PMs clean with very few added, and it has been like that since Day 1.

On that note, my gift box/wall is open to anyone just like any other player ??

Or, a mod will block you if your rp isn't good enough. They don't play about that rp

I just asked the simple question which some ppl use to ask me & I didn't knew so I asked from him to reply ,I waited to 1 day & when replied to ask him I saw I was blocked  he blocked for what ,asking question? :lol:

 

It honestly looks like they aren’t understanding or even trying to... to me tbh. I know exactly what you are getting at.... and it’s this snarky attitude somewhere between petty and idgaf... instead of taking the two seconds to help you. Some of them would rather give you a snarky/bítchy áss answer or ignore/block sometimes and it’s completely unnecessary. Try to stay positive and find a helpful one as best you can... and when you do... let them know you appreciate their time.

They are appointed volunteers that are supposed to follow the ToU and Roc.
Simply players are they.
Being your/other players bff isn't in their responsibility of moderating/resident advising needs to.

Some of us have played this game for roundabout 7yrs.. myself and many don't approach too many indecent/creepy messages. As an RA, seems you're pressing the stigma that majority of community that the development attracts is that creepy sort.

 

I'm not a mod, but I'd say that stigma is partly true. "Most" is an overestimation, but there is a huge chunk of the community who continue to be creepy.

They mostly come from posting on wc. I have avoided accepting any requests from "bigdeekrex6969" and sorts, but sometimes, I will accept them back, thinking that perhaps I was too judgemental. I was not.

Now these are mods here. Their "job" is to help players, and a number of then post on wc daily while keeping track of the vulgarities in chat. I don't know how many more creeps would add mods when they're an eye-catching green, they're extra active on wc, and well, they've got mod powers. Plus, they watch world chat a lot, and you know how the situation there is..

Don't think blocking someone is silencable, and the rules for demodding has never been in place, so i don't think that's going to work. Either way, if mods can be demodded for blocking a player, that's a pretty terrible job mods have there.

 

No support. In my experience, mods are respectful and willing to answer even the stupidest of questions from the absolute most ridiculous sources and will even add questionable people in an attempt to help/resolve issues. As ppl stated, mods are non-payed moderators of game play, not payed ATA employees. Additionally, if a mod does not want to add you back, or blocks you.... chances are there was a very good reason why. If that happens....just uninstall. ??‍♂️
