it's eh a lot of the k-pop fans i've seen are really weirdly obsessive about their biases though... like creepy af. more creepy than 12-year-olds were with 1D and Justin Bieber in like 2011
Those are usually international/American fans who are more of Koreaboos than actual fans lol they give us a bad name ;-;
I don't really quite have a bias... I just enjoy the music of the various groups. I recently started listening to Bollywood... Kind of interesting... What was I saying... Oh Right Yeah... There are some kpop stans that take thing too seriously at times... Makes me confused why everyone can't just... Enjoy the music talented musicians like BTS, EXO, Seventeen, B.A.P. and other groups produce
I was listening to Blood, Sweat, and Tears the other day followed by Fake Love... Their progress is simply amazing... They've accomplished an amazing amount in the past 5 years... And their fansbase... Amazes me tbh
i figured as much; i just have only encountered international fans because i do not live in korea or speak korean.
What's sad is that most of them aren't conspiracy. The harsh treatment that they have to go through, the contracts, the threats, alot of them are real. And the reason why almost to nothing can be done about it legally is because they agreed to sign the contracts. Some kpop stars give their whole lives away, and some only give years.
I'm not well read on Korean idols but I've read articles that a lot of Japanese idols are closely tied with prõstitution rings (incl. with minors)...
