If you plan to drive anywhere by yourself, you have to take and pass the road test. However, I failed my first time, as many people do. My instructor was an old and very forgiving Filipino man. He reminded me of my father. I drove almost perfectly but my anxiety was starting to get the best of me near the end. I had to make a simple left-turn onto a two-lane road, instead I turned left onto oncoming traffic. Automatic Fail Thankfully, there were no cars. I had enough time to reverse and pull into the correct road and then back to the DMV we went. It was a very sad moment realizing I had failed my first time after practicing for nearly two years to get it perfect. All because of one anxiety-induced mistake. _______________________________________ Question: How many times did it take for you to pass and is there a funny story to go along with it?
Sorry but most people don’t fail their driving test. If you fail your driving test you are a horrible driver and should only drive when necessary or else you’ll just be *that* person that everybody else has to constantly tread around because you can’t drive. Now, you can become a better driver. But it takes actual work. Please don’t be that person who just tries again and hopes to get lucky. It’s not a game where you just try until you win. You failed for a reason.
Yikes, take the stick out your butt. Everyone I know irl didn't pass their first time. Like I said, I practiced for two years to pass the test and I still failed. :')
Ye, it was super awkward and anxiety driven having to just sit in silence knowing he was watching my every move.
Thankyou qt, I'm retaking it on the 7th. I've been driving the route where I messed up, so hopefully that helps.
Yah, the dude said it'll be the same route next time. It's the same route for everybody who takes their road test there.
