I was just looking around for breakfast recipes and came across this: Mozarella cheese, bacon and potato bits, scallions and eggs.
baklava is a layered pastry held together with either honey or syrup with bits of nuts in it. i believe it originated in the mediterranean area? usually you see it in greek restaurants/diners/bakeries. very good, very sticky, sweet but not overly or artificially.
? OMAI YES PLEASE ? Someone give me breakfast food pics. ? It is delicious. Not more delicious than French toast but above waffles.
Yes, it is from around the Mediterranean. Its made with 'phyllo' dough, which is from the Greek language meaning thin as a leaf. Its sort of like flaky crossaint dough, but crispier. Usually its pistachio, walnut, or almond (depending more specifically on which country its from) that is carmelized and then used as a filling.
I just had to get it alone.. without words ..or arguments, without anything.. Just this beautiful glistening piece of heaven
