#1. Clubs need an easier way to communicate with all admin at the same time. Going through club list and sending a private message to each admin is a serious pain. Let's be real, nobody has time for that. Admin Chat: 4th chat screen that automatically adds all club admin to this chat. It can be very difficult for some clubs late at night to complete parties due to certain admin roles not being available. Calling for LBH would be pointless for a party jockey if another role wasn't on to accept the applicants. Here are a few ideas for club roles. •President- Wins (All Powerful) •VP: Same As President •Exectutives: All Capabilities EXCEPT MUTE •Party Jockey: Accept Club Applicants Change CA Start Parties •Bounceforcer: Kick Accept Applicants and Mute •Club Rep: What even is club rep? (Do away with club rep) Offer the option to purchase more club roles.
Club announcement can be used to communicate with everyone. Even the club wall could be used for the same. The roles can be changed. If your club is having trouble in completing parties at night because only a party jockey/bounceforcer is online, make them executive/vp before you go offline so that they can manage the club. Change them back to PJ/BF once you are online. I don't see the need for a 4th chat tab. Good luck with your ideas and the game.
Removing everything from club wall just to add a note for admin? Club announcement only has so many characters. Not to mention some of the information that is shared between admim could stand to not be shared with regular members. You as moderator don't think pimd could stand with some improvement? This would also cut back the use of 3rd party apps. You and I both know that is how players communicate with their admins.
Don't get me wrong. I think the club roles were a great idea.Not the best execution but ATA was reaching for improvement. Which is awesome. However,I can't help but miss the good old days when admins were able to do everything.
I think a club chat is a perfect idea and would indeed make things easier for those that are off and on during changes or issues etc. I think adding this would benefit most clubs and those that like to have things run smooth and with as little issue as possible. Club wall is not used for that purpose and Ca is changed to often and limited characters. I'm all for the club chat option
That was my entire point. It's not necessarily an improvement. Not to me. I find it redundant and unnecessary. If your admins need to have secret chats that members cannot know about, use private messages. It's not necessary to scroll down the club members if you have them added/followed. ? Goodluck.
Club wall is public, and there are certainly topics admins discuss that need not be shared with the whole of PIMD. CA has a limited amount of characters. Private messaging is tedious if you have the same message to repeat to all admins, especially as the club gets larger. An admin chat would cut back on the use of 3rd party apps for communication, allowing users to spend more time in game and (Im sure time in game is linked to this) encouraging them to spend more money. Perhaps clubs would be enticed into buying more admin roles since they would be in a private chat as well. Club Rep is a useless role. It makes no sense. I like the simplication of roles as you have outlined it, OP.
Tbh This is actually a really smart idea, especially the fourth chat. I used to run a club and it's hard, especially if someone doesn't have third party app.
And if the 4th chat isn't a practical option maybe a 2nd club wall that only admin can see. Or maybe make it where private messages can have more than a single recipient.
Club rep is the one that can add people to ur club. It tells u all this in the roles tab thingy also u already can buy more roles
