Gurgle warm salt water, drink hot green tea, eat tons of cough drops and try not to talk a lot. That usually helps. Also, try to avoid switching temperatures too much. (Meaning don't go somewhere warm, then somewhere cold and vice vera.) That can usually cause sore throats.
I stay away from tea haha I usually make myself honey lemon! Make a full cup of warm Manuka honey (active 12 at least) and squeeze 1 lemon into it twice daily at least
