ok maybe op is exagurating but what he means that currency difference may be a lot , take egypt for example 1 usd is almost 20 egyptian pound and when my family went there they bought 1kg of mean for 80 egyptian pount equivalent for 4usd , in my country 4usd would barely buy half kilo .

Egypt has always had the best currency against the pound. But now it’s super high because tourism is so low there

 

well all what i know is egyptian pound rate going down vs usd to point its becoming useless

 

Egypt is in such desperation its bad I wouldn’t ever go back there for holiday it was amazing back in 2006

 

however its best time to go there , you can have great time at cheap price

Not really considering every time I go there I get harassed. I wish I was making it up

When Egypt tourism was good I still got harassment lol not has aggressive and over the year It kept getting worse.

From my experience they kept going for young girls “oh come into my shop buy things, come into the Shisha bar. Sit smoke talk”. You would tell them no and they would follow you down the street it was horrible

 

i still hold to my opinion, there is exaguration in news

 

The only thing I paid attention to in the news was the terrorism issue.
