Only old people call it "soda." Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Pepsi etc all call their products "pop" nowadays. It used to be called, "soda," back in the day. Therefore, old people, who were young during those times, call "pop" "soda."

 

I call em soda pop

 

I just call them by their names

Like you want a coke ? Dr Pepper etc.


But in the supermarket it’s under the fizzy drinks section

I also call them mixers because I’m alcoholic
