Each day you always grind.
Hoping once to finally shine.
There's a lot on your mind,
But you focus to be fine.

You had a baby as a freshmen,
The baby daddy was a senior.
More of a beast than a fresh man,
That's why he's your ex man.

Parents put you out the house.
Pregnant girl with no spouse.
You had to struggle for so long.
How do you really stay strong?

The baby daddy don't help out.
Your opinion of men is in doubt,
All because one guy was rotten.
His face will never be forgotten.

After you had your child you cried.
Your aspect on life had finally died.
Your son became your will to live.
Anything he would do, you'd forgive.

A decade later you worked hard.
Had a big kid playing in the yard.
Saving up money to move away,
To a much better place to stay.

You wished your son the best,
Used to hold him to your chest.
Fast foward to the your present.
Life is a gift, it's called present.

Your son went off to college.
A single mother beat statistics,
And her son gaining knowledge,
And he's exceeding in linguistics.

Able to retire early and smile.
Remember you were shamed?
All cause you got preggo early.
You're the one who was blamed.

The baby daddy only got cheers,
You were called a slùt by peers.
You laughed to overcome tears.
Nobody could sense your pain.

Family members shunned you.
You literally worked your ass off.
All of that bullshıt is through,
And you struggled losing weight.

They joked about your baby fat.
You wanted to end it all with a gat.
The baby daddy laughed and you,
Wanted to pull up where he was at.

You should be colder than December.
All that name calling, you remember?
All of your boyfriends were on games.
How did you tolerate so many lames?
