Net Neutrality

  1. If I break the company's rules, then I deserve the punishment. There is no right to the internet. The internet was fine before the FCC infringed upon it.

  2. I mean, p2p file sharing blocked, at&t blocking facetime, need i go on?

  3. Yes.

#1. Pay for your shït like a grown up. Pirating is stealing from the creator of something you enjoy. It's idiotic.

#2. Yes, websites that use a lot of bandwidth should have to pay more.

Give me a better one, those are weak, literaly cheap excuses

  4. Comcast and Verizon already have a monopoly on telecommunications. they bill us for tiny bs fees and get away with it because there are no other competitors. My internet is slow enough already. For them to slow down my internet speeds or prevent me from visiting the sites I want, like preventing me from watching YouTube or Netflix is wrong. Idk what planet you're living on but repealing net neutrality is gonna impact me and you, cause were gonna shell out more money for no good reason.

  5. The internet was never unusably slow nor rediculously expensive prior to 2015...

Unless you count dial up...that was rediculously slow

  6. I’m Canadian, sorry babes. You’re screwed.

  7. What if we use VPN

  8. 1) p2p is a massive system, not just piracy has been done over it, however i will agree piracy is a big issue, it is not all it is used for.
    2) charging more for something that can easily run off the plan i already bought? After paying a data charge for what im using if i go over? Hmm, seems like one of those things where fines are on top of fines for a service that should include it all, or just an entire service missing from a service that should include it all. Kinda like selling an apple pie and them saying"the apples take too long to cook in the pie crust, so youre gonna have to pay an exta fee for the apples, more than the pie ordinarily cost in the first place because well...we dont want to put in any fair effort for our prices" or"you know, you ordered that apple pie, but since the apples take too long to cook, you dont get them in the pie"

  9. #1. if Pirating is a huge issue, p2p isn't the way to go. Another solution for your file sharing must be obtained. How about you mail a usb drive?

#2. Let the free market fix these things. If one isp decides to start making people pay more for certain content and others do not...guess what, nobodys gonna stay with that company.

The free market will work it out. It always does.

PS. My internet bill was 1/2 the price it is now before 2015, so I'm laughing so much at y'all cheap skates. You're complaining about something that will benifit you.

Whos pushed all the "net neutrality is good" propaganda? FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE, GOOGLE, TWITTER ETC. And who's paying them to do it? Comcast, spectrum, cox, at&t, time Warner.

Its time to put two and two together guys, would they push to keep net neutrality if it was a bad thing, or a good thing for their wallet???

  10. As if there isn't enough people online talking about this already, you guys are boring and behave like mindless sheep.

  11. bump bc this is important

  12. sites will just be hosted elsewhere. america isn't the world. it'll be fine.

  13. Sorry. When you use incorrect grammar in the same phrase to call other people mindless sheep, I cannot take you seriously. I did not have to call you a name to insult you here. This is the proper way to get your point across.

  14. No it isn’t.

  15. leave me alone.

  16. My internet seems to still be working just fine still, how bout y'all?

  17. Can’t relate

    -sips tea- ?️

  18. I sent a support ticket to ata about this issue days before they voted, they said they will think, about it. I haven't seen any threads by ata yet so that means they are one of few companies ignoring the situation.

  19. cant relate as well
