Read over the following statement, do it quickly and read it just one time. Finished files are the result of years of scientific study combined with the experience of many years of experts Now read it again and count the number of Fs in the text. How many do you see, three? Four? Or more? If your answer was three or four, go back and reread the statement, but this time, look for the number of times you encounter the word "Of" There are actually seven fs in that statement.
I don't have any Chibis though Hun, dropped stats cos not active anymore. Did you count the fs or nah?
In a typical group of ppl who have never seen this demonstration before, most notice only three fs. We don't really focus on the letters in the statement. Most of us learned to read phonetically, and "of" appears as "ov" in our "minds ear"
I keep getting 6, :?. What am I doing wrong? . Also phonetics don't count for me, as English is a second language and I plain ignore those small differences in sounds.
