The full moon shone brightly through my bedroom blinds, warning me of the vicious creatures that may erupt from the shadows. My headphones play my music playlist, and I stay silent, the blanket hiding my feet from the possible bogey man that would grab my feet from underneath the bed. A slight tap on the window gathers my attention quickly, and my eyes widen, shivering as the thought comes to mind. Home alone at October 13, Friday. Perfect. I get up from the bed, and find myself aimlessly walking through my bedroom door, checking the time on the microwave in my kitchen. 12:34 AM May as well grab a midnight snack before I head back to my room. I open the top drawers that hid my cereal, and grab a bowl from another drawer. I pour the cereal in the bowl, filling it to the brim as I close the box of cereal, and stick it back in the top drawer, grabbing a spoon and sticking it in the selectable goodness. I swung open the refrigerator door, and grab the milk carton, smiling as I head back to the cereal. I open the milk carton, and tip it over the bowl, my face's color flooding as my worst nightmares came to life... My heart pounds in my chest, and at that moment, every hair on my body seemed to have stood up. We ran out of milk, and I've already poured the cereal.
