Haven't made a thread in a while but I felt like doing so today. As a few of you may or may not know, I have a photography hobby! I owned a Nikon DSLR and while it was a great camera, I found that carrying around something that big was kinda tiring. I decided to sell my DSLR (thankfully to a good owner) and had a near obsessive search for my next camera. Looked around some mirrorless brands (particularly around Fujifilm and Olympus) but I came across something interesting that I haven't really heard of before. Long story short ... There is also a very painful story with customs here. And the funny thing is when you check it out, it looks so regular. It looks really plain. I almost overlooked it just because of that factor. It's...it's not shiny? I will keep this brief. The reason I got something like this is because it is so small and light that it encourages you to bring it everywhere. The other big reason is because I've seen pros use it and their shots had so much life to it. I can't really explain it. I know it's more of the photographer than the camera itself but there is just something so irresistible to it. Anyway! As soon as I got it, I couldn't wait to try it out. This was taken as I told him how my day went. He's a good listener. Now, this camera was highly acclaimed as a street photography camera so I go to shooting street...stuff? I've still got a lot to learn about photography and my camera but I just felt like sharing something I find really cool. Feel free to share your hobbies as well!
This is actually hella cool. Im not one to just take pictures but people that do. I admire the stuff they catch in the lense.
Great! Finally something interesting here. I hope you continue to share your pictures, surely I will stop by to see them.
I don't know a thing about photography so I won't comment on how are those pics ( because honestly idk know ) As for hobby I don't think I have one atm I'm usually busy with studies(I'm in lurk mode constantly and hit while studying) and when not im usually in forums So I guess my hobby will be lurking on forums or I play ps3 if I have more free time
A lot of nice things come without the bells and whistles. More room to do what they are supposed to do well. My camera does terribly at night Your's does an awesome job!
Earl Grey though I'll steal it someday ? My current hobby has been reading classic story books of the 80's. Tis' great Be the photographer on my wedding day k? ?
Good photography just speaks to you or evokes an emotion out of you. Makes you look at it a little longer. I think that's the basic idea. ? Gaming is always awesome though. ? To be honest, I'm struggling with low light scenes and it isn't the strongest point of this camera. ? The contrast just made it work out somehow.
Oh which books? Speaking of classics, I've always enjoyed the books of Dumas. Weddings are scary to cover.
Oh my, your photos are everything. Makes me want to take some killer selfies on the street all alone in the middle of the road. :')
