Yes; twenty-first century man is weak. The decision was correct. Unfortunately people today are too weak to do what is right.
Well, not weak, too empathetic. In war empathy can be a good thing or a bullet in your own head. People care too much to support a hard call to tactically end something. It's not a bad thing for a normal person, but during a war it'd become one. (Gotta love predictive text putting"face" in)
Most of you are completely out of your minds for even trying to argue your cases this long, as if war has any justification other than the greed for power of your own country.
War is justified by the greed and emotions of humanity and not by any one country. There is no way to prevent a country from ever getting in a dispute, no way to completely prevent someone attacking another country. And there is no way to completely prevent the retaliation that eventually leads to full blown war. Sadly this is the world we live in, because we as humans are built to have differences, and every species fights to resolve their differences. We might be the smartest creatures in our world(debatably, in some instances) but we fall to the same natural order. Just for us it's on a bigger scale, and our leaders use soldiers to fight their battles for them.
Such profound knowlege of Global politics and international relations!! :O makes my eyes water..
Invasion doesn't just happen because Russia was bored and chose a country at random. Lies and secrets and deception and extortion and greed create mistrust which is how your countries go to war. Mine has never. We've had a civil war, but it was settled without the involvement of another country in aid of killing people. Greed is a strong motive, and most countries can't control theirs.
You got me at parachuting spiders. I can deal with infantry spiders but there's no human alive that doesn't flip out when they think there might be a spider on their head
