Okay this is a story that happened to my friend and her dad, Larry.(lame intro but it's true) Okay so when Larry was in college he needed a job really badly. Like he was too poor for ramen and macaroni. One day he was out looking for a job when he came across a diner. It was kind of run down but it was still functional. He applied and got the job as a waiter. Well there were two ways home from that diner and one was to walk along something akin to a freeway or very busy street which was the long way, or to go in an alley cutting behind many abandoned houses/businesses. The man who owned the diner told him to never take the short cut bc it was dangerous. He never specified why though. Anyhow one day Larry's wife was sick as well as their child (my friend) so he had to get home quickly. He decided to take the shortcut as he was a pretty tall fellow- thinking he'd scare away muggers and such. As he walked he noticed it was extremely quiet. You couldn't hear the wind, or the birds, or even the cars on the busy road. Suddenly a black cat raced across the street and hit a tin trashcan sending it rolling. It was quite a shock after the silence so he started laughing it away. He continues walking and chuckling when he heard a girlish giggle behind him. He turned around and a woman stood out from a dumpster. She had long black hair and pail skin and her eyes were glowing yellow and her mouth... Was grotesquely turned upward with teeth shaved to points like an animal. She giggled again this time going from girly to a choking animalistic grunting. She reached out a hand for him and he ran. He never returned. A few days later my friend woke up in the middle of the night to find she couldn't breathe. It was like there was something heavy pressing on her and she couldn't move. She looked to the side and a shadow distinguished itself from the others. She saw long black hair and glowing yellow eyes... She screamed and her and her family left the house and called their pastor to bless the house. She says she remembers looking back at the house and seeing a halo around it. They ended moving and blessing the next house before they entered. The story isn't over though. Larry's brother needed a job and asked him where he used to work. Larry refused to tell him and told him not to look for it. However his brother remembered driving him one day and thought he could navigate his way there. So he did. And what he found was an abandoned building with no signs of life. The alley was gone as well. There was just a broken down diner on the side of the road and a black cat sitting on a tin garbage can.
