I know popular votes don't count. I'm just saying that it puts her loss in perspective. Like I said, had she put more effort in rallying specific states she would've won but that's her own fault. I think the election was fairly close popular vote-wise, but electoral vote-wise Trump closed in on the important states and used better tactics than she did (as you mentioned in your earlier post).
Go look at 1984, Mondale got destroyed...Hillary still got a good chunk of key states, it wasn't a blowout

It's the same as with Brexit. Trump won because the 'little' people gave a big two fingers to the political elite who kept telling them what's best for them. I think the exit poll said 82% thought Trump would bring change. Hillary represented more of the same which if you're struggling, needing work, seeing your quality of life go down, you don't want. General bloke on the street looks at what's important to him, his fears and his needs. Trump tapped into that perfectly just like Farage etc did here.
a lot of this is largely due to falsified information from the media ? for example, the fbi decided twice that there was irresponsibility in her actions with the email server, but nothing criminal. yet, people still pushed it. neither candidate comes close to being perfect, but as a non-american, i can say that you elected the wrong person.
