  1. ive actually never met a homophobic muslim. all my friends/family that are muslim/sikh/non-white-religions are pretty accepting, whereas the christians/catholics seem to twitch around me a lot more

  3. Update: over 23 innocent people have gone into surgery to remove bullets from their body. We are in desperate need of O negative and O positive. If you live in Florida (no matter where) please donate!

Police have also stated that bodies are still in the building and phones are ringing off the hook inside. They're going to start taking the bodies out as soon as they can clear the scene.

Flags are also going to be at half-staff until Thursday. We are all still shocked at what happened, but we are all coming together as a community to help as much as possible.

I'd just like to say thank you so much for the prayers and good thoughts, my really good friend Rodney is out of surgery and is expected to make a full recovery and can hopefully go back to his two children as soon as possible.

Please stop with the jokes. You don't understand how bad it really is. I know you just want to try to be funny or whatever, but it's really not.

Islam clearly states being gay is a punishable offence.

  5. So tough brah

  6. I am sorry not trying to be insensitive here or anything but what about every single black teen that dies every day why don't you guys say something about.
I am not American but we should think about these things too

  7. This has nothing to do with black teens...

    Stay on topic

  8. What does a black teen have to do with this? People do die everyday, but this is a mass shooting. Over 100 families and lives have been ruined and scarred in a matter of minutes. I can't stand people like you that bring race into this. Blacks and whites and Hispanics and Latinos and everyone has been targeted in this hate crime. Please leave.

  9. I am.not going to leave I have the right to say what I want to say...I am just saying that people are dying because of guns but sorry for saying my opinion

  10. You were talking about black teens are you stupid?

  11. This has nothing to do with gun control. That guy could've driven his car through the club, he could've stabbed everyone, he could've done so much damage with different things. I believe in the right to have guns and I will get my CWP when I can. This isn't all about guns, yes this tragedy happened with someone that had a legal weapon, but that's not what this is about. And like Trex said, you said nothing about gun control... You just brought up black teens which has nothing to do with this.

  12. then what is it about lmfao if you didnt want people to talk about the issue dont make a thread about it

  13. The moment guns get banned is the moment gun violence will spike.

It's happened where I live, I should know

  14. Just because you have the "right" to say what you want doesn't mean you have the obligation or the position.

Yes, we are aware that other tragedies happen on a daily basis. However, the scope of this one is significantly different and deserves a different response. As was already said, the answer here isn't pointing at gun control or other issues. The answer is examining the culture that creates these people and how we can support the victims and their families.

  16. You can't kill and injure a hundred people in a matter of minutes with a knife. Js. People would have rushed someone with a knife.

  17.
  18. I just wish violence would stop. The hate has got to stop.

  19. thanks, u cured it. can u wish away world hunger next?
