Here's what support@thinkingape.com replied when I ask them to look into a serial scammer's profile. Take note I did not ask for a reversal or return of the gifted item the scammer ran away with. I was asking for deactivation or suspension of account. "Sorry to hear about UnvalidUser's behavior. We understand that everyone works hard to get the items they have in the game and there is an expectation of honesty when trading. Unfortunately some players don't have the best ethics. It may be due to their environment, their upbringing....who knows. We know it's not nice when someone doesn't send you the items you're supposed get, but we don't moderate trades at this time. Because of this we can't reverse any gifts that were sent between accounts. We're real sorry to hear about what happened again, for now we encourage you to trade with only players you trust to ensure you get what you are supposed to." The ape practically said that a neutral word "sëx" is prohibited but scamming is not. We are aware that sending multiple messages on WC in successive fashion gets you banned, but now we already know blatant scamming don't mete out any sanction. Not sure how the ape arrives at such judgement in moderating its player community.
They should create a trade thing, where u send ur gift, but trade won't go through unless they offer up the gift they promise,and you get one final do u accept trade so u can reject if they offer up wrong gift.
No. It is called laughing at stupid people. Scamming has been a part of this game for a long time. Smart traders don't get scammed. I have been scammed before. I won't lie. I was naïve and assumed people tell the truth. Guess what? People lie. Especially on here. Lesson learned. Never happened again. Stop crying. Trade smarter.
What's wrong with what devs said ? They said to stop being a greedy numpty and trade with people who you trust ? Would you give a stranger on the street $100 and he say he'll mail you a brand new iPhone tomorrow ?
?can't edit no more ... Was gonna add, I have lots of old scav that I could prolly trade for higher stats items but due to the fact I don't like/trust 99% of Pimd people I am content keep what I have️ but I don't ever lose what I have either ️️ I just send items to friends as gifts, works for me ️
