So at work, whenever my brother and I are working together, people always ask "are you brothers? Because you look very much alike" and they confuse us a lot with each other like "I got directions from you yesterday" and I'm like "I was off yesterday.." Anyway so I'm at work this morning right, and this guest comes down to check out and is talking to my coworker, and tells him something about me checking him in and stuff and I pay no mind because I've never even seen the dude. And before he leaves, he tells my coworker "thank you sir you've been a great help" and then I look up to smile as he's leaving, and then he turns to me and says "you on the other hand, have terrible customer service checking people in" and I'm looking at him smiling and chuckling thinking he's joking right and he continues "out of all the years I've been to Best Westerns you have provided the absolute worst service to me" and by that time I'm like ah this dude is serious so I'm still smiling (because customer service right) and I'm just like "you're confusing me with someone else sir." And he keeps saying "No I'm not, it was you" and starts blaming me for all this terrible service and I just keep saying "it wasn't me sir" and "nope, sorry, I was off Saturday" (the day he checked in) and my brother is just walking by laughing and I'm just smiling away looking at him like "bruh wtf that was all you" And that's not even the worst part, before leaving he took a real good look at my name tag instead of my brothers which is what he SHOULD HAVE done when he first got this "terrible service" and is now most likely going to send a complaint about Jose P to corporate or ruin my good reputation on TripAdvisor reviews. So anything eventful happen to a home at work today?
I literally just got off work. :lol: My brother and I also work at the same place ? but nothing overly interesting happened today. The most exciting thing that happened was someone getting arrested at a car shop across the road. Apparently this man choke-slammed his girlfriend inside the store. The cops were there for like 4 hours.
Dang. We live in a pretty ghetto area so I've had to kick out drug dealers, crack heads and prostitutes out the hotel and call the cops and stuff pretty frequently
Oh Best Western. ? It's really rough in the service industry because you gotta deal with people and a lot of those people aren't very nice. I deal with receipts.
