So this one time my best friend got asked out on a date. She didn't want to go alone, so she asked me to tag along with her, and be their 'chaperone'. They went to go see a movie, and I wanted to be polite so I sat a few seats away from them, silently eating my popcorn, until I looked over and he was trying to kiss her and she looked uncomfortable, so I crumpled up and threw my napkins at him. She then moved over and sat next to me, and we finished the movie and he was alone. He never asked her on another date.
My shortest date was this guy I met whilst leaving the bar... He was walking in, I was walking out. He talked me into giving him my phone number (He was a really good looking guy and totally built) and promised to call me the next day. He called the next morning and asked if I would like to take an early dinner on the deck at the Holiday Inn, which is located right on our bay and has live music in the summertime, usually of the acoustic variety. So I agree and meet him. 15 minutes into the date, my cell phone rang, and it was my best friend, who is a guy. I actually had to take the call, and apologized profusely for answering. The phone call lasted about 5 minutes, and the entire time my date was glaring at me with his arms folded across his chest making such comments as "It's too bad you already have a date with me, huh?", and "Tell him I said hi." which he said a minimum of 5 times. It was completely ridiculous. 1st - I had literally talked to this guy for maybe 30 minutes total. 2nd - He actually had no idea who I was talking to on the phone. He literally started making comments about 2 seconds after I picked up the phone. 3rd - How freakin' psycho do you have to be to get that jealous 15 minutes into a first date???? Needless to say, I ended up walking home about 15 minutes after that. He wouldn't calm down, and there was no way I was going to get into a vehicle with him.
