  1. Methods of Relieving Stress?


    Just because I'm super stressed rn due to procrastination, I'm now trying to avoid the workload due in a couple hours once again by posting on forums ? logic ?

    Fr tho, how do you destress and all?

    ~Personally, I take breaks every hour or so. I'll answers texts or go on an app for like 15 mins max. Before I start, I get myself tons of food that lasts from about 10PM-4AM ?
    ~Motivation wise, my bed is my lover. That's the only thing that keeps me going ?
    ~Staying alive? Blasting on music and switching from my bed to desk (back and forth)

    4. How easily are you stressed?

  3. I work at both the bed and desk, sometimes the couch even gets some action. If I get stressed out, I'll put down whatever I'm doing for a while and get some fresh air.
     
  4. Sweet food and blasting music at full volume is how I cope, to be honest. Hahaha.

    I never do work on the bed, mainly because I'll just be lured into laying my head down and sleeping ?

    3) Music and some good Chinese food
    4) On a scale from 1 to 10. I'd say 6
     
  6. Music is bae. Typically if you're stressed I suggest you take some sleep that actually gives some rest to your nerves so you'll feel good when you wake up.
    I procrastinate a lot though. I blame pimd.

  10. I usually study on my desk or in a beanbag (soft one good for destressing ) I still procrastinate way to much and I do get stressed like A LOT but listening to music and stepping away helps. ️

  12. When I'm stressed, I eat a lot of junk food.. Then I get depressed and even more stressed if I gain weight ☹️

  13. I get stressed so rarely to the point where I feel like its unhealthy lol
     
  14. When im stressed i take a long hot bath. Usually in the dark. Around 5 hours :lol:
     
  15. I would, but that snooze button or me just not hearing my alarm go off at all forces me to stay awake 
     
  16. 1)Bed—my room isn't big enough for me to fit a chair at my desk without feeling cramped (Freshman problems). ?
    2)Early in high school I sucked about procrastinating, but by Junior year I had really gotten much better about it. I'd say now I'm somewhere in between. 
    3)Music helps me focus (I have really bad ADD), so I pretty much constantly listen to music (even in class—I have an accommodation for it). It also really helps keep me calm, or at least way more calm than I would be without it.  I find also having someone in your life (a significant other), even if it's long-distance, also really helps (Skype or some kind of video chat is great because you can hear each other's voices and see each other). That being said, there are also a lot of people on here who aren't very loyal, you just have to find the right person. ?
    4)I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10, I've reached an 8 or maybe a 9 a couple times, only once so far since getting to college. It's not fun for anyone, but it's even less fun for those of use who have anxiety disorders (I have trichitelomania—a very annoying form of OCD). I'd say my average stress level in college has been about a 5 though.

    Sorry for posting something so long, and sorry about getting personal, I just really found your question interesting. Thanks for asking it Juliet. 
     
  17. 1- I work at my desk, but I will read work in bed sometimes. Doing work in your bed is bad though, your brain will start to associate sleeping as a stressful thing.

    2-depends... Ill only procrastinate if I know it wont stress me out or if I realllllly dont think I can handle doing it at that time.

    3- I work out to release stress or punch stuff.

    4- I get stressed easily, but I have high demands.
     
  18. Working out usually distresses me or punching the boxing bag.
     
  19. I can't say how I like to relieve stress ? top secret info.

    But I'm always stressed. I'm at a 7 rn because of midterms. Someone shoot me. I've gone to a 10 before and ended up spending a week in the hospital because of it. Not a pretty sight
