There's a lot of social stigma that comes to online dating. But what's the real problem, anyway? A lot of these failed romances are teenagers (or pre-teens) who have no idea what they're doing. If you're stupid, of course it's going to end up badly. For example, you don't date someone you don't know anything about but that also applies to real life, doesn't it? Say, you're dating and things are great. The greatest issue is probably the distance now. But even before the internet, long distance relationships were already a thing. There are actually surveys that reveal that people who have met online and have met in real life tend to be happier and are less likely to end up in a divorce. My take is basically that love has no rules. ?
